Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, with helpful and friendly staff, above-average rooms and a great restaurant. Highly recommended.
Stayed for 2 nights in the middle of May.
Room was nice, later on found out it was deluxe room, while I was booking standard. They charged for deluxe too, however, difference wasn't that big.
Nice breakfast, as always you can find in UK.
Very nice people on reception.
However, not first time I find that a 3-4 start hotel...

Only about 1 mile off the motorway but has a quiet countryside setting. Restaurant is "award winning" and certainly the food I ate was excellent. Leisure facilities are really good and the cooked breakfast buffet is excellent. Only downside was there is no safe in the room.
Stayed here for one night. Food excellent rooms clean and very good leisure facilities. Couldn't of asked for more.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, unable to access the wifi, and something in the room was making a low buzzing noise all night - so not a great nights sleep. Poor value for money.
Excellent restaurant with very polite & attentive staff. Myself & 3 friends ate there on Saturday and the food was excellent! Definitely revisit and look forward to trying different choices from their varied menu.
I attended a wedding reception here, and it was beautiful. A wonderful night was had by all. The food was lovely, plentiful and hot, staff were courteous and pleasant.......and the rooms were very comfy. Breakfast had everything I could want. The location is just stunning - you'd never guess it's a stone's throw from the M6.
My only regret was...

Stayed 1 night on business in April 2012. The hotel is very close to j27 of the M6 so very convenient if you are in the area. Parking is close to the entrance, reception area is attractive and functional. I was a bit disappointed by the receptionist, however. I arrived at 1:30pm (check-in is 2:00pm) and even though I apologised,...

I guess it depends what you want from a hotel. I have very simple criteria...free wifi , good range, a way of listening to the Radio of food , plenty of places to eat and walk to. PROPER BEER In the bar.
And sadly this place really misses the mark. You could be anywhere. It's a faceless corperate kind of...
