A guy called Joe assisted us late on the Wednesday night. His name was Joe. He only brought us towels and an iron but he was very polite and professional. We had a conference the next day and a lady called Sandra served us breakfast and also assisted with the lunch order. She was very helpful and friendly. Very welcoming... More

A really nice hotel with polite and friendly staff and a great breakfast, also only a short walk from the town centre. Have a drink in the nearby Sam's bar on your way into town, it's rough and ready but very friendly

We always have a good time at this hotel ,hence our return visit. This time it was nearly empty and had a very quiet dinner. The Portuguese Restaurant manager was his usual helpful selfand the menu ,although limited was very good. They could not fit us in all inclusive this time so we did half board, which was more expensive. The... More

Visited 2nd June until 6th June with a Grand UK coach party. On arrival at reception the staff were very welcoming and helpful and dealt with our group quickly. Later we had a query about the area and the two young women on duty spent time checking out on the net until they had solved our problem. Our room was... More

Polite and friendly staff, clean hotel and room. 3 minutes walk from the town centre and £5 in a taxi to the DW Stadium. Free parking. I only stayed for one night and didn't book for breakfast so I can't comment on the food.

Thank you for your review. I was extremely disappointed to read your comments regarding check in and have discussed these with my Head Receptionist and her team. I apologise that no assistance was offered with luggage, as this is the normal procedure for guests. I do understand that this must have given you a negative view of the hotel, but... More

Was booked into this hotel for 2 nights. Parking not a problem and hotel reception was clean and tidy. Reception staff were friendly but distracted by staff from elsewhere popping over to borrow keys and ask questions so we weren't the priority when booking in. After being given our keys we were not directed to where the rooms were and... More

Had two nights stay at the hotel on bed and breakfast basis with friends in June 2014. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent buffet breakfast with as much as you wanted to eat at the start of the day. My only complaint was that some staff members seemed a bit glum at the time of our visit.
