I was meeting friends in Wigan as I no longer live locally so stayed here for one night in January. The pub itself is cosy, good music, quite a nice atmosphere, quirky decor. I was shown to my room and initially I was happy, again it had the same quirky vintage feel to it, antique furniture and a modern tv.... More

I spend a lot of time in corporate beige blando-blando-all-the-same chain hotels and picked this because it looks to be the polar opposite. Which it is. So if that's not what you want, it's the Travelodge you need. The theme throughout the pub and accommodation is either 'shabby chic' or 'weirdly eccentric' but for me, not in a bad way.... More

I don't know Wigan all that well and wanted somewhere with easy walking access to the town centre. I found Fifteens on a website and booked it based on the very reasonable cost. I stayed midweek for 2 nights with my girlfriend and we had a very enjoyable stay. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful white cotton sheets. the... More

Spent the evening at this nice place (with friends). Not that easy to find if you are a newcomer to Wigan. Very tasty Lancaster beer, at a very, very reasonable price. Friendly and welcoming, with a good atmosphere. Pool table (which was obviously warped, as I kept losing!!). Would certainly consider visiting again if in Wigan.

We spent 3 nights here, we understood this was a pub (but classed as boutique rooms!!)why do you need 6 mirrors in a double room and photographs of naked females. The plumbing obviously had a problem considering the noises that came from toilet and also when you turned hot water tap on. The noise from singer on Friday evening at... More

Me and my wife spent a Saturday night stay over at fifteens after a night out a meal and drinks. With it being a Saturday early evening check in was a little awkward having to queue at the bar carrying bags and my coat etc. bare in mind the bar was three deep. Eventually we were shown to room number... More

We were going to The Open in Liverpool and couldn't find any reasonably priced accommodation in that area so looked at Wigan. We chose 'Fifteens'. What a pleasant surprise. It was only £25 each per night for our twin room. The pub was a very quaint, old fashioned english pub with a comfortable, homely atmosphere. It had lots of televisions... More

Popped in on my walk from the station to the Wetherspoon Hotel and had a very good pint in a very quirky pub. Excellent condition Thwaites Wainwright at a competitive price so no complaints on that score.
