I recently stayed at the Bannatyne Hotel in Durham during a business trip to the area, I have to say the staff were extremely helpful and polite and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I also enjoyed the use of the health club which I personally found to be the highlight of my stay. Would definitely return and recommend! more

If you are simply looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to stay this hotel offers excellent value for money. Don't expect frills or luxury, but it does provide everything you need for a short stay. more

This is a great little place with nice rooms and a comfortable bed. It is attached to a health club so you get free use of the pool and spa facilities.
