This is a gorgeous Georgian Townhouse very close to Durham City Centre, run by two designers who clearly love the place. We occupied a lovely modern room at the back of the house (south facing, away from the street) and enjoyed a modern bathroom. We overlooked their town garden. We had expert and experienced advice on where to eat, and... More

66 Claypath is ideally situated five minutes walk from Durham city centre in one direction and Hild Bede college in the other. The guest room is light and spacious, overlooking a secluded rear garden. Everything is beautifully provided, as you would hope to find it, including a private white bathroom with bath and power shower. The tasty breakfast is taken... More

66 Claypath is a quaint B&B with friendly hosts, Richard & Paddy & their two friendly 'wild beasts', Annie & Georgie. The B&B is centrally located, an easy short walk downhill to the main square & winding cobbled streets that lead to gems such as the Durham Cathedral. The B&B has a Georgian facade but is actually set on a... More

The food is all top quality, and very fresh. especially the fresh herbs served with the breakfast. Richard and Paddy are very good hosts who have a wealth of information about the city they live in, and are happy to... More

Lovely place to stay, very clean, food was good and the owners friendly and helpful. Loved there being a dog about the house. Location was excellent. The only problem is the lack of parking. You have to pay to park on the street outside which could be quite costly over several days.

This isn't your average B&B, it's more a family home where the couple who live there let out a few of their bedrooms. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the garden. Although the bathroom wasn't en-suite, it was of a high standard and very clean. We stayed there for two nights, the first night there was only... More

We only had a short time here but the owners were quite helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The bed and bathroom were modern and very clean. Recommend for any stays in the area around Durham.
