I use this hotel on a weekly basis as I visit the office of my employer in the neighbouring business park. You can always rely on the very friendly welcome on arrival, and the check in process is handled very efficiently. Rooms are pretty standard Premier Inn, however as this is one of the older hotels it doesn't boast the... More

Good nights sleep and very friendly team. Rhonda on reception a real gem. Hotel on outskirts of town, but close enough to the city centre tow chess in about 5 minutes. Good parking facilities. TableTable restaurant right next door.

I did not think that this Premier Inn would be anything special - especially with an 'industrial estate' address, but it was excellent. in particular the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have met in any hotel - when my taxi did not arrive on time for a nearby business meeting, they even offered to drive me there... Once again the Premier Inn offered their usual high standard of accommodation and environment. Very happy with this budget hotel chain. There is another Premier Inn in the centre of town (Durham), but this is priced accordingly, we decided to take the cheaper option hence a few miles out of town. However, that said we were in a good location for... Had to tak ethe kids to vist my mum in teh Norh East - we travelled from Surrey (300 miles). Hotel staff were very welcoming and the family room we booked more than adequate for our stay, with a large double bed for me and two single beds for the boys. Really clean and well kept. We booked the breakfast... More

This is probably my favourite premier inn. Staff are always welcoming. It's just off the A1M but far enough off not to have an issue with road noise. It's one of the new designs so rooms are a good size and have everything you need. My only minor complaint, which applies to a lot of the premier inns, is that... More

Ok, so.... Arrived to the hotel after a very long drive from the south quite late at night and was greeted by the receptionist (whom may I say seemed very friendly, chatty and informative). Once given the key to the hotel room (no electronic card but a key on a huge tag) we walked to our room that thankfully was... More

Only stayed for the night for a double 21st and 40th birthday, but rooms were clean and tidy, staff were helpful, friendly and happy going. Only paid £35 for a couple so good value for money would defonetly recommend! However, the pub next to it providing food/drinks was very nice but a little expensive. Apart from that fab!

For a budget hotel was surprised at how welcoming this hotel was. The reception staff were excellent. Room fine for the money - but we found the much advertised bed not as comfortable as our own bed. Breakfast in the pub next door was excellent. Service again very good and a good range of breakfast options. Free wifi slow. £5... More
