We regularly eat at The Kings Head and have never had any complaints, until this visit. The pub was very quiet, there was one family dining when we arrived, we were told which table to go to and our drinks arrived promptly. We both knew what we wanted, so didn't take a long time checking menus. We ordered our food... More

Went to Lanchester Village with the intention of going to Deano's Tratoria but arrived too early so decided to call into the King Head Hotel to kill a bit of time, ended up having a meal there and all I can say is "Brilliant" and the staff made the night so enjoyable

Short stay to spend Christmas with family in Leadgate Christmas eve and Christmas day. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly, smiley staff who quickly booked us in and showed us to our room, despite being very busy in the restaurant and bar! The room we were given was lovely and looked over on... More

Ate here early Saturday night, 7.00, it was pretty quite when we arrived but filling up when we left just before 8.00. The food, as we have always found, was delicious. I had chicken in creamy garlic & mushroom sauce with new potatoes & veg & my partner had cod, chips, home made, which to us is a plus, &... More
