Stayed for one night in November and was very pleased with my small double. Everything was very clean and as for the decor, nothing was out of date - all modern simplicity. Found the bed comfortable although there was some noise in the night (Friday night) that came up when people were walking back home from city centre. They do... More

Nice hotel in Barnstaple. Very friendly and helpful owners, giving useful advice on the local area, where to eat etc. Had a small single room, which was fine for one night away on business. Was able to make use of the breakfast room to do some work which was useful, WIFI connection good. Not sure about the parking, I used... More

I stayed here with my elderly mother for three nights. The rooms were very nice. My mother had the single room on the first floor which was small but well equipped and overlooked the park. I had an attic room which was a long way up, but quite characterful. It faced the back and was quiet provided the window was... More

Just a one night stopover, and had stayed before several years ago. In fact, that was when I was attending the local divorce court. It worked out a whole lot cheaper this time !!! ;-) I was pleased to see that the excellent standard of the hotel hadn't changed. Room upgrade, which was nice, and everything was just right. Clean... Stayed at this hotel two weekends in a row. Both rooms (4 and 9) were spacious, clean and nicely decorated with ensuite, tv/dvd, free wifi and tea and coffee making facilites. Parking can be difficult when you first arrive, having park on the street around the corner, but it's fine. Breakfast was delicious, with cereal, fruit and toast and then... More

I primarily chose this hotel due to its proximity to the venue we were en route to. I was very pleasantly surprised by how lovely and big the rooms are - it feels airy and light, the room we stayed in had a big window (room 4). It also had a surprise extra twin bed which was fab because due... More

This B&B is easy to find, though parking can be a little troublesome - but I found a space easily. The owner was very welcoming with clear explanations of the facilities and gave me a map of the local area along with restaurant recommendations. The centre of town was just a 10 minute walk away. The room was large, bright,... More

We are visiting from Australia and have stayed at various hotels en route and the Yeo Dale Hotel has to be one of our favourites. We were very impressed by the warm welcome and professional relaxed approach which the staff have, and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Great value for money. We would not have any hesitation in... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in the en suite double attic room. We were concerned about the space but it was fine for a short stay and even has a decent view over the town from the skylight. The room was clean and all you need is there. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast... More
