First night was terrible, one king size bed and two singles, from what I could tell, folding singles, and very uncomfortable, didn't get any sleep. Price was alot more expensive than a Local B&B I concluded my stay in the area staying in, and the B&B Included a proper free Cooked breakfast made from local produce. It was quite cosy,... More

Great hotel which has recently been refurbished. We stayed for two nights and the hotel was so quiet. Combine that with the best mattress ever and I had a great nights sleep! We lost our key but it was no problem for the hotel. They didnt make a fuss about it. They gave us a replacement straight away for no... More

Generally I stay with Holiday Inn's through my work and haven't stayed in many Travelodges, last year I stayed in a Lodge in Newcastle and was one of the worst experiences of my life! I recently had a friends wedding and this was the only hotel available, I was worried at first but I was actually pleasantly surprised, I understand... More

Convenient location just off main North Devon road, within easy reach of Barnstaple and Bideford. Room very clean with WiFi, TV and tea/coffee. Comfortable bed, slept well with no noise disturbance. Free car park out front with KFC restaurant and Spar shop on same site. No restaurant (breakfast in a bag is only food option), nearest pub/restaurant I found for... More

Stayed here for two nights, no cleaning done between nights. Bed only half made. Where are you supposed to sit? One plastic chair in the room, no sofa. Who wants to lay on the bed all the time. Would not stay here again, would look for some where else, no shortage of places these days

It's a total shame that Travelodge ditched the seating in their hotels as they swapped the sofa (bed) out for the truffle double bed. You are not going to pull out the lower bed to sit but you do sit on the sofa. A fact that Travelodge seemed to miss out on. You would think they could provide two comfortable... More

Hotel is very clean and fresh overall though there were a lot of flies in our room. I wouldn't mind if it was live ones - they can't be helped really unless bug killers are installed but I wouldn't expect that! No, live ones would be ok but I knocked the lampshade by the bed and at LEAST 20 little... More

Easy access everywhere, sufficient conditions for very little money, kettle, cups, tea, coffee and sugar in the room. Clean, calm - okay for me................................................................

Despite the fire alarms being set off by a person slightly worse for wear at 1 am on Easter Sunday, we had a great time...staff are polite, friendly & helpful. Manager is professional & friendly. Room was spotless & clean towels were delivered daily. Have stayed here several times & we're happy to go again... :-)

Does what it says on the tin. Helpful and friendly staff. Dogs are accepted, but at a £20 cost. Rooms on the front of the hotel can be noisy from 24hr traffic using the fuel station. Don't have a breakfast box, visit local Sainsburys or McDonalds for breakfast instead.
