This Travelodge outshines the other two I've stayed in by far. The room (116) is absolutely huge, looking out over the carpark, but also lovely green fields. Though it is near the road, there's basically no noise at all in the room. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a bath. It also has a fan... More

Don't use Room 101 or anywhere near that room. Very noisy with rubbish being taken out early and generator and air conditioning on all night long! Take ear plugs and good luck. New beds are nice but prices have gone up to pay for refurbishment. Travelogue now not vfm!

Thank you for your feedback Bob R. We want all of our customers to have a good night sleep so we are truly sorry to learn you were disturbed by the noise from the generator outside, all of our facilities are required to be quiet and fully functional. We had an overnight stay when we were in the area, so that we could visit a part of the north Devon coast that we had not seen for years. You will spot the big BP petrol station before you notice the hotel, which lies behind it. We were received well at reception. The room was clean, quiet and spacious... More

This was one of the better Travelodges I have stayed in, but bearing in mind it is only a few years old, it still should be fresh and clean looking. It was basic but good enough for an overnight stay. One of the lamps was broken, the heater didn't work and I had to re tune the T.V, to get... More

we stayed here early May for 2 nights. Having never stated in a Travelodge before i wasnt sure what to expect. Check-in was quick and efficient by a very polite lady. I was pleased that there was a card security door for access to the rooms, made it feel safe. The corridors were extremely clean, no scuffs or anything on... More

We stayed here at the weekend with our two small children. We have stayed at Travelodges in the past but this was the best yet. The decor was perfect - no scuffs on the walls of stains on the carpets (as is often the case at some Travelodges). The receptionist was very welcoming, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the... More

As is the case with the Travelodge brand, you tend to get what you pay for. However this particular branch has had a recent return and it is one of the best Travelodges that we have stayed in to date. I stayed with my girlfriend on a wed night as we used it as a base to go surfing at... More

Really, all we want is a comfortable clean room preferably downstairs that is reasonably quiet. This is what we got. On arrival we were allocated an upstairs room but on asking if there was one at ground level we were immediately given room 15 by a very pleasant lady. There was a disability toilet about 10 seconds away from our... More

Very pleased with my stay here, great base for the area, a few fast food outlets and supermakets in walking distance, staff were all fine, good nights sleep. Had to leave a night early but this was a family matter and no reflection on the hotel itself.
