My hubby and I and our 8 year old granddaughter returned from the Roosecote Guest House yesterday and hubby and I are already planning a return visit. What a lovely stay at the Roosecote guest house! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was grilled, not greasy at all. Location was ok, nice and peaceful but not too far away from things, don't follow your satnav if coming from Windermere!!Great pub 10 minute walk away, South lakes animal park only 10 minute... My self and my husband stayed here February 2014. what can I say, the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The country views are stunning, yet we were still only 5 minutes from the centre.
