Couldn't recommend this hotel. The only positives I can mention are that the staff were very cheerful and helpful, the room was warm and the food in Francesca's was ok. My room was a twin room on the third floor, 311. I had to climb three flights of stairs through a pretty dirty stairwell( there were visible lip marks in... More

Really enjoyable stay, shame we had the mountain of stairs to climb each time we went up to our room but it keeps you trim ;) clean big bedroom, en suite was really great.. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, avoid the sausages they aren't great quality. 3.5/5

Worth going to the hotel is clean looked after, the visit was made fun by a great man called Allan, he made us welcome, entertained us with his amazing card tricks, if it wasn't for him I belive we wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much so thanks Allan from John and danielle

Some very varying reports had me slightly worried about the 2 rooms we'd booked. Without doubt, the building itself needs a little TLC but its not just about the building! Reception was pleasant and helpful on arrival. Our family room and bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. OK, I have seen better carpets but the room was bright and airy,... More

Booked this hotel on late rooms. £45 per night, inc breakfast over the weekend which I found reasonable. The room was pleasant, clean, minimal. Nothing fancy. We had a walk in shower, no bath but the shower was powerful and warm. We had free WiFi. The rest of the room was clean. Windows were thin but we had an extra... More

This was a bargain! Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. OK the room was a bit tatty but it was spotless and warm. Bathroom good and shower was fine. No lift but that was OK and we couldn't get in the hotel car park but there was a huge car park round the corner which because we arrived after 6pm only... More

I was booked in to the Majestic as there is no Premier Inn local. The pictures online didn't look too bad and the free parking was a positive. Unfortunately the reality leaves a lot to be desired. A broken lift means a long walk upstairs to the room. The room was freezing due to the draughty noisy windows. The room... More

Stayed at hotel magestic with my 11 year old son for the weekend. Reception staff were pleasant & our room was spacious and clean. The view from our window was of the local police station & fire escape. We didn't have any problems with rattling windows or the town hall clock. We slept without any issues. The only down side...
