Cost us a mere £35.00 for 2 of us including a very good breakfast. We stayed on a Sunday evening as we were going to the Southlakes Safari Park (which is fantastic btw). We were given a warm welcome and then lugged out luggage up to our room. There are no lifts. They had given us a treble room. The... More

We stayed in this hotel as we were visiting for a family event. For the price we were very pleased. The hotel was nice and clean and the rooms were of a good standard. They were clean with nice up to date features. The only issue we has was the lack of double glazed windows and no working lift. We... More

Stayed in a single room for two nights, room was a reasonable size for a single room (room 315). Bed was comfortable and bedding and towels were spotless. Room and en suite were clean and towels changed the next morning. Hotel is a bit tired but did not find this a problem. The lift is permanently out of order so... More

I've stayed here on several occasions and to be honest for the money it is well worth it. However there are still some outstanding issues which still need addressing. Firstly the absence of a lift is unforgivable. The sign on it said that is it permanently out of order. Not neccesarily a problem for me but for elderly and those... More

Arrived with the 'oh not got you' then found the booking! The room was 305 (executive room) top floor...hot day.. NO LIFT! 6 flights of stairs with a room with NO opening windows, and the windows were 2 tiny turret ones, which you cannot open, painted shut! Very dark. To be fair when we complained we were moved to a... More

The breakfast at the Majestic is good, in all other respects this hotel is dreadful. The staff were friendly enough, but unhelpful; the lift is permanently broken; the rooms in poor repair and dirty. The overall impression is of a hotel much needing modernisation.

Me and my family stayed here on Friday 11th July. We all enjoyed the food it was amazing, the staff were friendly and smiley. Allen showed me a few card tricks and i was amazed, my step-dad (Mark from Lawsons) had told me a lot about him and his magic tricks but Allen said that he is not doing the... More
