Found this the most friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. Alison was fantastic and made us feel very at home. The main reason we stay at travelodge is the ability to bring your dog with you. The location of this hotel is ideal for visiting the Lake District especially the south lakes such as Windermere.

We picked this Travelodge as we where looking to have a low cost night away somewhere not too far from home. We were lucky enough to get a room at the back of the hotel on the ground floor with a view of the lake. Overall we were pleased with the room, we had a great nights sleep and wasn't... More

Quite possibly the best travelodge I have stayed at! The rooms were spotless and we were luck enough to have a room overlooking a small lake (not the carpark!) which was a nice little touch! Great price, great rooms, fab service and a peaceful nights sleep - Thankyou :)

Stayed here for a wedding that was taking place in a nearby hotel. With a young baby I always take anti-bac products, didn't need to use them! Whole room spotless and when I did spray and wipe no dirt came up, not in the bedroom or bathroom. Booked a double room as only us and baby and was plenty big... More

I stayed at the travelodge in barrow in Furness whilst on business in late September 2014. The check in was very good with the staff member being very friendly and helpful in the location/facilities available. The location is good from the point of view that it is off a main road and has only businesses around it. About a 5... More

Regular business visitor to the Barrow Travelodge. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious and cleaned daily. The rear rooms have nice view over duck pond, its nice to arise to sounds of birds rather than traffic noise. I find the staff very warm and welcoming for such a large establishment.

Visted for two nights. We were assigned room 118 overlooking the car park, this was no issue at all. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable, pillows a bit hard but that's a personal preference thing. TV excellent and shower amazing. Staff very chatty and friendly and the breakfast box more than sufficient to kick start you in the morning.... More

I defy anyone to find more friendly staff than the team here. Nothing is too much trouble. Whether it is getting a taxi or putting a fan in the room superb service comes a standard in this hotel. If only all Travelodges were to the same high standard all would be well.

Typical travelodge, close to town, basic clean and tidy room with the added bonus of a dominos pizza just over the car park. Stayed for 2 nights and had no issues really at all, it's a bit of a balance for rooms, half face the car park, this could be noisy if your typical contractor is arriving late, the other... More

Good points- The staff on arrival were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is very reasonably priced and the family rooms are a good size. The hotel is clean and modern and ideally situated for a trip to South Lakes Wild Animal Park. Asda cafe down the road do a good breakfast! Bad points- We had a downstairs room and... More
