Visited for 1 night 2 Adults and 2 Children 4 and 7. Really warm welcome beautifully decorated home. Comfortable evening to relax whilst girls slept. Both my girls loved the house and cried when they left. Fantastic breakfast to set us up for a long walk around the Zoo.

We stayed for one night with our young daughter and were very impressed with the quality of the room and the helpful, friendly service. We stayed in the yellow room which is large, stylishly decorated and furnished with beautiful antiques. Breakfast is very good and is made all the better by being served in the conservatory overlooking the pretty garden.The... More

Our second stay at the best bed and breakfast in the area. Accommodation is spotless, breakfast is varied and caters for all needs. Dave and Caroline are charming and could not have been more accommodating. Eggs are from their own chickens and the Mexican breakfast is a must. For an evening meal try the brown cow pub in Dalton.

We stayed for 4 nights in the yellow room which was beautifully renovated, large with a stunning king size very comfortable bed. The room was better than most four star hotels and the welcome from the owners made for a lovely stay. Breakfast was superb, with fresh eggs from the owners chickens. The location down a quiet lane close to... More
