Last minute short break which we both enjoyed. Holmlea is an ideal location for exploring Bowness and the Lake District. Within easy walking distance are a wide selection of restaurants,pubs and cafe's catering for all tastes. The guest house itself was very clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome.We would certainly stay again.

What a lovely guest house with excellent hosts . we were treated to a stay at Holmlea for our wedding aniversary by our daughters and they made a good choice, the hosts actually left aniversay card and complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice touch, B&B was very clean and ideal for our stay of two nights, location ideal for town and lake would deffinitely stay again.

Stayed at Holmlea for 2 nights in March 2012 and we really liked it. Clean and friendly with a nice breakfast to set you up for the day.
