Me and my Brother have just got back from staying at the Oakfield House Hotel and we did not want to leave. The hotel was very clean, the owner and staff were VERY helpful, can’t wait to go back soon, the hotel was in a excellent location just a short walk from the lake, Not 1 Fault ……. 5 star

This has been our 5th visit to Oakfold House and as always nothing is too much trouble.The rooms are superb and the breakfast is tremendous. Would recommend to anybody.

This is a great B and B - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and everything has an air of quality about it. The hosts Michael and Michael are very helpful, recommending restaurants, cooking a fab breakfast and in our case helping us to dig our car out of the snow in the carpark and pushing us onto the road - thanks... We only stayed for one night, but the stay was first class. Our room was lovely, comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was very tasty and hot. Michael met us when we arrived he was very pleasant and informative. We will stay again hopefully soon.

This was our third return trip to Oakfold House and as ever it does not disappoint. We recently stayed at this B&B for our wedding anniversary. We found the B&B to be very comfortable. There was always plenty of choice for breakfast with a range of cooked food, continental style breakfast and cereals/yoghurts to choose from. Made very welcome and was ideal as we took our dog with us and dog was allowed to stay in room with us - excellent location esp for dog owners

Just had a 2 night stay at Oakfold House. Very good location - walking distance from Bowness where there's some nice shops, restaurants and the lake (for boat trips). B+B is nicely decorated, was very quiet and has off road parking. Room comfortable with a bottle of wine on arrival, which was a nice gesture (as we booked online). Some... More
