Stayed a couple of days at the Nagoya on spur of moment for some mid week - end of season - R&R and walking. Owner was away - often the time when things slide - but "stand-in" manager Trevor was excellent from start to finish. Good elevated location - with views over lake Windermere. Not specifically mentioned is the private... more

My wife and I are just back from our sixth stay at the Nagoya and once again we had a fantastic time. We usually spend a long weekend there during November to catch the autumn colours of the Lake District. We keep going back to the Nagoya because we are always made welcome by the lovely staff, the rooms are... more

We had a few days with our dog and needed somewhere that was dog friendly. This immediately reduces the options. Service was excellent, room was very clean and tidy with a lovely patio overlooking the lake. We managed to sit outside every evening and have a glass of wine (not bad for October!) En suite was lovely too. Nagoya is... more

I booked the nagoya "Rydal Suite" for me and my husband on the 28th of august for 1night. I had searched the internet for recommended accomodation and the trip advisor reviews helped me decide. When we arrived we were certainly not dissapointed. In fact its even better than the website description. It is a beautiful house, set amongst others in... more

Thoroughly recommended. Pefect central location on an elevated site so remains quiet. Private entrance to room from outside with private terrace. Rooms spotless and very comfortable. All staff very helpful - excellent breakfast! Made to feel completely welcome and would not book anywhere else when back in the area. more

I stayed at Nagoya Country House, with my grown up daughter and our dog, Astra. Jennifer was so helpful and friendly and the room we had was just perfect. The views from the patio (although we were based at the rear we didn't feel as though we couldn't go around to the front patio), in fact this is where we... more

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the standard rooms. I was beautifully decorated, spacious and excellent location to town. Breakfast was fabulous, although it is only served between 8.30 and 9am so if you want a lie in you might be dissapointed. All in all we had a fantastic weekend away, Jennifer was a great host, the views... more

Our stay at Nagoya Bed and Breakfast turned out to be the highlight of our trip to England. Located on the south end of Windermere and a short stroll from the lake, this B&B offered everything we wanted. A nice, clean room at a good rate, good food, great service and a great location for exploring the Lake District. Many... more
