We booked a cottage double room with breakfast mid week for less than £60, unheard of in the centre of Bowness with parking. We were lucky and found it discounted at the right time hence the Excellent review. We had a lovely old cottage double room which is advertised as small but we just found it cosy. Owners couldn't do... More

If you are looking for accommodation in the centre of Bowness then look no further! Perfect location for all local pubs, shops and attractions with plenty of free parking just a stones throw away. The rooms were adequate if a little dated, breakfast was very good, we will be back to this quaint little hostelry! 😊

this B&B has been under new ownership for a few months now; and appear to be hitting the ground running and are keen to move this business forward. I know that they are planning to start updating some of the rooms; some of the room decor is on the dark side and slightly dated but overall still more than functional.... More

We stayed for one night as we attended a wedding in Windermere. The hosts were very welcoming and you have a very homely feel as soon as you walk in. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is delightful. Would definitely recommend this hotel, it's a winner x well done guys!

What an excellent place to stay, lovely breakfast, right in the middle of Bowness. The nice touch was when we all chucked the keys in the bowl, nice surprise to see what you picked. With all the pubs and restaurants around , you can`t go wrong with this place.

This B&B was perfect for us - it was quaint with roses and other flowers around the door. The situation was very central and within walking distance of the lake and surrounding town. The room was clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast was very tasty. The owner was friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive. Parking was close... More

We booked this B&B due to its location, which is definitely 4 star. The B&B itself, wasn't great though. It was so hot inside that we had to sleep with the windows wide open, which meant it was really noisy. Our room was pretty small, which was fine. But pretty dated and worn. The bed was a total nightmare. It... More

The B & B was perfect as usual as we have stayed before. This hotel has changed hands but the new host was not as welcoming as previous owner. It was a case of there's your room next day pay your money then good bye. A little warmer greeting and farewell would be nice. Apart from that food was good... More
