We stayed there on Firday the 11th and Saturday the 12th of December 2009 and had a fantastic time. We stayed in the Tudor room which as well as the huge 4 poster also had the biggest bath either of us had been in. There were three tv's as well, one of which is at the end of the bath.... more

Aphrodite's is definitely a different style of hotel, it is very much a boutique hotel, so we were expecting things on a smaller, cosier scale. We stayed in the Tudor Suite which had a very comfortable four poster bed, a fabulous jacuzzi bath for two and a TV set into the wall - very unique feature and lots of fun.... more

Booked 1 night at Aphrodites for my boyfriends birthday. Stayed in the Tarzan and Jane suite. It was amazing, much better than the pictures. He loved it. There was a sauna and massive spa bath in the room and huge bed. We ordered room service for dinner, which was nice and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting... more

We booked based on a friends recommendation as a Minimoon vacation before our main Honeymoon next year. We like the look of the Victorian Suite on the webpage, and booked up for four nights during the week. Recently stayed with my boyfriend for his birthday in the Parisian Suite for a much needed break from our busy lives. The suite was spacious, clean and different from the norm! Aphrodites is located just outside bowness village and is located in its own grounds so is really nice peaceful and spacious. the rooms are different, all with different themes so will have to choose a different on when we visit bowness again. We found this hotel on the internet and decided to check the tripadvisor reviews before booking, as we always do - however on the back of the reviews, we decided not to book. Stayed at this hotel with an open mind after reading all the reviews but I wasn't disappointed. Stayed in the Flintstones suite which was great. Had a lovely time relaxing in the large spa bath whilst watching the LCD television which also had a DVD player. Check in was quick and friendly also. I can recommend this room to anyone... more
