Loved our stay at this hotel. Stunning location right on the lake! Wonderful views at breakfast, as well as the breakfast itself being delicious. One of the nicest hotel breakfasts we've had. Our room was nice too. Would recommend.

My wife and I booked to stay for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We ere allocated a lovely lake side room with underfloor hearing in the bathroom. Dinner on first night was inclusive.,What a treat. Imaginative and tasteful amuse bouches. Very original presentation of food eg starter of sweetcorn, main of venison and dessert. Great use of textures... More

We booked Storrs Hall as a 30th birthday treat for my sister as she had never had Afternoon Tea before and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to take her somewhere extravagant as part of a family trip to The Lake District. Upon arriving, the reception area was completely empty. Strange for somewhere that describes itself on its website as... More

Having been to other places for afternoon tea we thought we would spend a little more and go somewhere more up market. We were greeted at reception and were sat inside, however it was a lovely day and when asked could we sit outside that option was not taken into consideration. We were asked of there were any allergies to... More

Me and my better half have recently spent two nights at Storrs Hall, our first long weekend away. We'd decided on Storrs Hall within a week of arrival and from arrival to departure, the service that we received was nothing short of exemplary. Examples of this, include that on our second night there, we were in the drawing room when... More

We visited in early June , this was a anniversary treat from our family. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the south lakes very near to Windermere, but unfortunately the afternoon tea did not match the location. The sandwiches and cakes were not of a standard you would normally associate with a quality hotel.

Lovely afternoon treat at Storrs Hall, with a trip advisor voucher we had afternoon tea at the refurbished hotel. Its about two years since we last visited the hotel, and although it was a beautiful old hotel then it was in need of a touch of love in parts, well it has been given that and the place looked really... Booked 1 night stay, Waitrose offer! Really could not believe why we had never come across or heard of this hotel before having been to the area so many times. (normally stay at The Old England) Staff were very helpful and made to feel very welcome, the room we had No.35 was fantastic, really beautiful with the lake view. We... More

We have stayed at a number of hotels in and around Windermere and this one is one of the best. Situated at the residential side of the lake attractions are not close by, however we only went for a fine dining experience and were not disappointed. Afternoon tea was served in the conservatory and with a glass of champagne was... More

When we arrived the lady on reception was very helpful, booked us in for afternoon tea at last minute, which was lovely! had a junior suite which was amazing. Loved the coffee machine. Had everything we wanted and more. Only downside we hadn't booked a windermere view, but compensated by having all our meals in the conservatory with the beautiful... More
