Stayed at the Rybeck for one night with a special offer. Lovely hotel, very pleasant staff and excellent meal. The room was very nice and warm, and quiet at night. Beautiful gardens at the back with a lovely view of the Lake. The breakfast was traditional, I had the scrambled egg with salmon and it was delicious and very filling.... More

We spent three nights in this lovely comfortable hotel over a busy Easter weekend. I cannot fault it at all, the staff were all friendly and helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The food was superb both at dinner and an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Dinner was modern and refined with some nice touches like canapés before and... More

Made a return trip to The Ryebeck for an ovvernight stay. We were welcomed with scones and prosecco taken in the lounge overlooking lake Windermere. We had garden view rooms which were excellent. All rooms have been upgraded, furniture is new, bed very comfortable, very clean and roomy. Loved the juliet balcony and window seat. Bathroom was adequate with locally... More

There are so many good things about this hotel, yet so many things that weren’t right that meant the experience wasn’t quite what it could and should have been. I was taken for a two nights to The Ryebeck by my husband to celebrate my birthday/our anniversary. I’d purposely avoided looking at any reviews or the hotel’s own website in... More

Stayed here for one night for my birthday on a special offer advertised via their other hotel (Hipping Hall). The change from Fayrer Garden to the The Ryebeck is clearly to appeal to a newer clientele - those looking for a lakeland hotel with the contemporary edge. We were on a dinner B&B offer and were not disappointed. The room... More

Everything about this hotel was excellent apart from two little gripes. The location, room, staff and food were truly excellent but as you will see with other reviews the evening meal though delicious, didn't fill you. We had to ask for extra bread - you may call me a heathen but why doesn't the chef take note of what the... More

We found The Ryebeck through a Travelzoo package deal offering an overnight stay, cream tea, prosecco and canapés on arrival, evening meal and breakfast. Upon arrival we were greated by a friendly member of staff who showed us where the restaurant, lounge and bar areas were and then took us to our room. We stayed in the annexe separate to... More

We have stayed several times at this lovely hotel whose staff offer a warm welcome and outstanding service. On our recent visit the pleasant atmosphere remained unchanged but unfortunately the dinner menu since our last visit has become arty in the extreme. This is no place for the hearty appetite. Someone needs to reintroduce the chef to vegetables, especially the... More

We stayed at this hotel last week. The hotel was very nice about a mile out of town. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, we were in the annex as we had our dog with us which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. We had dinner one evening which was lovely, although a... More

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel for an overnight break. We had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal which was amazing value. Could not say enough good things about our experience. From a cream tea with Prosecco to canapé's and the 3 course meal, the food was exceptional. Our room was just the standard one but was a good... More
