We stayed for two nights on a DBB deal with a half bottle of champagne in the room on arrival and a goody bag of bath delights. We had a lakeview room which was rather small as was the bathroom and it was very basic so we were a bit dissappointed. However the view was lovely. I thought they were... More

This was our second visit to the rye beck it was lovely to be back. We ended up in the same room as we had previously stayed. On our first visit the jacuzzi bath was broken and it still was on this visit. We had also commented on our last visit robes might be nice in the bedroom as it... More

We stayed for two nights on a DBB deal. The hotel was lovely with a beautiful garden terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view. There was a comfortable lounge and a cosy bar area. As we were on a discount deal we did not expect a large lake view room! The standard double room was an adequate size... More

We stayed 1 night on a dinner , bed and breakfast deal which turned out to be good value. Lake views were a sight of water through the trees but nice nevertheless. The room was decently sized with a jacuzzi bath. The menu was restricted but not a fault for that and 2 items were unavailable. The food was beautifully... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Ryebeck and have nothing but praise. We were met at reception with a smile, our room was ready (early), and from then on, the whole experience was first class. The staff were all excellent, clearly well trained, nothing was too much trouble, nothing forgotten, absolutely superb. Our room (7), was very pleasant, nicely decorated... More

We spent two nights at The Ryebeck and we're delighted with our choice. The hotel and staff are very welcoming, rooms were smallish but well appointed and presented and the food was delicious. The menu was small but well chosen and the presentation was beautiful. Our deal included a half bottle of champagne in our room and tickets for a... More

This hotel has a beautiful setting. Lovely views of the Lake and a lovely garden to relax in. The food is very good. The rooms are small but well decorated and clean. Overall a very good experience and would certainly return again.

We stayed here for two nights on our way home. Room was pleasant, newly refurbished but rather soulless. Our room overlooked the garden and Lake Windermere (couldn't see much of the lake because of the trees). The room was large with plenty of wardrobe space but could have done with some shelf/drawer space. The food was delicious, service OK. Hotel... More

Just returned from a 2 night break at The Ryebeck Hotel. Having previouosly visited Fayrer Gardens many times in the past we wanted to see what internal changes had been made, if any, now the Hotel has been renamed. The Dining Room has been redecorated and now has a marble floor. Our room, No. 8, was spacious, has a four... More

the fact that they "rarely" change the dinner menu made us glad we were only there two nights. Vegetarian option (there was only 1) didn't seem particularly appetizing so we had other options. Those were cold the first night, better the second night. Breakfast was typical English - don't order the porridge though. It was thick, cold and unappetizing. Renovations... More
