Stayed here for two nights as a change from the flagship Hotel Hipping Hall in Kirkby Lonsdale. Very happy at how well we were received by the staff and amazed by the standard of the Hotel. The relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious service was very welcomed. The jewel in the crown is Eddie Kilty the new chef (having accolades such as... More

We arrived an just hour or more before dinner, so in time to make full use of the jacuzzi bath and get spruced up. The room was toasty warm on a chilly evening. The Ryebeck is a characterful building, set a little way back from the lakeside, with some modern additions which enhance the views over the lake. We left... More

We had a relaxing two night break at the Ryebeck Hotel. The staff are amazing and really friendly. The Head chef Eddie Kilty is a genius in the kitchen a remarkable tasting menu, all the food served was exquisite. Will be booking again.

We stayed here for one night on a 'great little breaks' bed, breakfast and evening meal deal and what a treat it was! Excellent value for money. The hotel facilities are beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is out of this world! Although we booked a 3 course meal as part of the deal, we... More

Visited the Ryebeck for one night for my husbands birthday. We got the break from living social and it was certainly great value for money. On arrival we were upgraded from a standard room to a garden room. The room was lovely and cosy, bed was a little uncomfortable but I guess that's just personal preference. We had a cream... More

We had a fantastic time from the moment we checked in until we left. We booked for dinner and that was amazing don't expect big portions because you won't get them but the flavours were great we started with canopies which were salmon and caviar and salted popcorn while looking over the menu we then had oysters and bloody Mary's... My wife and I first visited in June 2014 just after hotel's re opening. Whilst pleasant enough we did not intend to rush to return. However, having received a very attractively priced offer for a one night break this February we thought we would give it another go. It was a revelation. The food was superb and the new chef... We stayed at the Ryebeck last year in the Summer in a garden room. We returned again this week for a 2 night break to enjoy another relaxing stay. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist who advised we had been upgraded to a full lake view (thanks so much) with jacuzzi bath. Room 9 on the first floor was... More

Stayed here in two previous occasions, but this time was definitely the best. The new chef has produced the most marvellous food which deserved star rating. We stayed over the week-end and were greeted with a half bottle of champagne and either a sail on the lake or visit to an adjacent country property. The staff were first class and we thoroughly... More
