Me and my friend went to stay at the Ramada Newcastle Under Lyme as a cheap hotel near the attraction , Alton Towers. I didn't have high expectations for it as we didn't pay much for it. But the service was great and really luxuary. The Rooms had a flat screen TV which had all the freeview channels and a... more

I had to stay here on business and I tell you what I’m glad I did!! It looks like the whole hotel has been refurbished with no expense spared marble floors running through out reception, reception walls are all glass it is like some thing that should be in the central of London... fantastic not what I was expecting. Bedrooms... more

The rooms and the location are absolutely fine and for this reason I visited a second time, unfortunately my experience went from bad to worse. This hotel is just badly managed which is reflected in the overall service. During my second stay room service took 1.5 hours, no Wifi because they had not paid their bill, TV stopped working, no... more

I am local to this hotel so have been to a couple of weddings and attended other functions ie birthdays. The Restaurant Kavi is not in the main building but outside and down a bank - it is all steps to the Restaurant entrance and no disability access - which I found quite awkward for myself and a couple of... more

I stayed here with my partner after searching for a hotel to stay in the night before we were due to visit alton towers. The hotel itself isn't too bad aesthetically but the service and staff are appalling. In short we were given a room which was unbearably sweltering hot, and by 2am we were unable to breathe properly and... more

I arrived, about 8.30pm on a weekday night. The car park suggested the hotel was really busy. I checked in. I was handed a keycard. I had to ask where my room was, what time breakfast was served (from 7am) and whether I could have an alarm call (I could). I got to my room, and the keycard didn't work.... more

First impression was bland and tired from the outside. However, I've seen enough hotels to know that those things can be deceiving. We had a rate of £62 per night including breakfast. Therefore our expectations weren't high but we were disappointed anyway. After check in, my colleague and I struggled up two flights of stairs (no lift and no help... more

Big party of us stayed in this hotel for a weekend while attending a Wedding up the road. It was a hot weekend but the rooms were all totally stifling perhaps the hot water pipes make it so unbearable not sure. Windows wide open but then the noise was awful (possibly staff as well who seemed to be using the... more
