if i was expecting 5 star i would book 5 * at 5 * prices. At £21 all i expected was a clean room and somewhere to sleep. This is what i got. ive stayed int a few travelodges but the receptionist (didn't get her name but was on duty 24.05.13 in the evening) was above average. She was friendly,... More

A travelodge with nice new rooms. This is one of the better travelodges as it is new and fresh. Basic but worth £36 a night. Lady on reception was very unfriendly. Think all we got was our room number grunted at us. This hotel had a small cafe beside reception which we didn't use but looked ok. Lidl is right... More

very functional. nice friendly staff, clean rooms, no problems at all. good location, above a lidl so handy as well. allowed me to check in slightly early (about 1445) which was very convenient, actually arrived there about 11am, and when asked received a parking slip for the car park straight away.

This is a very basic hotel, compared to premier inn and travel inn. The food is ok but limited choice, for breakfast it was 4 items for full English, a few cerials, muller yog pots and toast. For dinner there was about 15 meals on menu and half of them was burgers, evreything had chips with it and was microwavable.... More

Very central + convenient if you are visiting, eg, Trentham estate, Stoke City FC, Port Vale FC, Wedgwood or any of the other potteries. Modern, clean, has a breakfast bar, is adjacent to Lidl to stock-up on snacks ! As you leave , take a few steps left for a subway underneath the A34 dual-carriageway into town, or a few... More

We travelled here to visit my sister for a family party and found the location ideal for Newcastle centre, and the free parking was good as it can make you choose a different hotel in other towns when that cost is factored in. Staff were very friendly whenever we met them and the room was warm and clean, as were... More
