This medium rise Travelodge is easy to find and to access. It is fresh modern and clean. Located perfectly for shps restaurants etc. In Newcastle under Lyme. The rooms are fresh and appear newly refurbished. The wifi works well, and the shower is excellent. There is bar and cafe style restaurant - an added benefit over some Travelodges... Breakfast was... I stay here once a week during term time. The rooms are modern, clean and well presented. The location is convenient for me. I pay £3 for 24 hours wifi use. I haven't eaten in the cafe but it looks bright, clean and modern

Stayed here whilst on a brief trip, never stayed before and never again. Arrived and found our way to reception. Spent a while standing behind a youth with jeans near his ankles while he checked in with the lone receptionist. Clear sounds of other staff members laughing and joking in the back room, not one thought to come out and... More

Little to be said, you know where you are with a Travelodge and this location delivered a welcoming service in excellent 'no frills' accommodation. A good comfortable place to rest my weary head! The breakfast was brilliant too!

Stayed for one night...made use of the 24 hour Reception, and had a friendly welcome even at 1 am! Had made advance booking, so no formalities. I asked for directions the next morning, and Sam printed off a google map and directions for me, entirely unprompted, which was nice. Only disappointment was the optional breakfast- tasteless and expensive. It was... More

Stayed here overnight after a weekend get-together with some friends.. Found the Reception staff to be very friendly and helpful. My room was on the 5th floor, spacious room, lovely and quiet. Tea & Coffee facilities provided. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and functional for my needs. I pre-booked my breakfast online when making my Reservation,... More

Was the best surprise of my trip with 2 other friends around England/Scotland for 1 week. After 400 miles driving we decided to stop in this town and for our surprise. Good place to sleep, big room, clean and big bathroom, close to the small center and super cheap. We paid only 49 pounds for a triple room (no wireless... More

Slow check in as no staff on reception. Uncomfortable bed, pillows and duvet. The noise from the bar opposite till early in the morning was the last straw. Although the room was reasonably clean apart from one giant cobweb, the nights sleep didn't justify the £44 price tag. Will be booking into a Premier next time although not so well... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have had some great feedback on our new sleepezee beds and pillows however we are aware our guests will have different preferences. We are also aware that our more central locations may experience higher levels of noise. We are truly sorry to learn this disrupted your stay. More

We stayed here over half term. Very useful hotel for Alton Towers. We have stayed here a few times before and on all the occasions the room has been clean it is one of the refurbished travelodges. The breakfast was good and staff helpful.

I would definitely stay at Travelodge in Newcastle Under Lyme again! The rooms are spotless! I could not have asked for a more welcoming or friendly staff! The food was delicious! I love the Steak and Ale pie and my daughter enjoyed the fish and chips. The location is perfect for some shopping, dining elsewhere, and to catch transportation for... More
