The noise from both inside and outside this hotel are terrible, there were stains all over the bedding and absolutely no water pressure was present in the bathroom it took ages to wash and rinse hands and an absolute lifetime to shower thanks to some eco water saving device, God help you if there is a guest staying in the... First of all, the staff were great and the room itself was clean & comfortable.....however - there is a nightclub across the dual carriage-way which did not stop playing music until 2am! Even with our window closed it was like having a live band in the room..the booming bass was constant and when it stopped it was still difficult to... More

Another Travelodge whose upgrade has made a massive difference. The bed was big and extremely comfortable - the bathroom had been completely re-done and the 'hospital' feel of lots of the Travelodge bathrooms had gone. The room as a whole was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Can't think of anything negative at all really!

Stayed here for one night on the 19/08/2014 for a day out in Alton Towers. The hotel is in a great location for the theme park and only 35 minutes down the road. It was quite confusing in the car park as Travelodge only have a few spaces but after asking reception, it was fine to park in the Lidl... More

Staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Nice comfortable beds, spacious room, TV and Wi-Fi made our stay more enjoyable. Bar was welcoming and food was good. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights to go to Alton Towers. The hotel is very central and easily within reach of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a Morrisons near by for drinks, food etc. If you don't want to pay the £7.95 for breakfast in the Travelodge, Morrisons can do you it for half the price :-) We stayed... More

Me and my family recently stayed at this hotel and it was a terrible experience. The foreign girl at the check in desk was very poor in her attitude and wasn't any help at all with a problem I had when I was checking in and also other guest were very noisy and when I complained nothing was done. There is... Stayed here for one night. Parking no problem as Lidl car park could be used. Presumably this is not one of Travelodge's refurbished establishments. Main gripes - the bathroom floor was covered in a previous occupant's hair, which is quite off-putting. The folding bed in the room had a very well used blue brushed nylon sheet and no mattress protector,... More

Generally acceptable but communication between staff lacking. Room not serviced, had to go down 4 floors to request service. No phone in rooms, therefore for everything have to go down. Eensive, With_Fi, not sure if it is secure or not. Food was nothing to talk about. Good breakfast. Just not hot but gone cold by the time on the trays... More

My partner and I stayed here on a 3 day trip from Cornwall. On arrival we were looking for somewhere to stay in Stoke after being disappointed with our previous hotel the night before. We walked in to this establishment and were greeted with nothing but friendliness and smiles. The help we got in booking a room was second to... More
