We had a double room which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were friendly and efficient. The outdoor pool was closed. The bar, which closes at 10.45, was dreadful, it is also the dining room which had a horrible grubby looking tank stuck in the corner with live lobsters in it. Twice we had to ask... More

From afar the hotel looks great, just on the edge of the beach overlooking Weymouth but when you get close up it doesn't look as good. Everything about the hotel is dated, you have to wait until 3pm to check in and even when we go there at 3.30pm we had to wait due to problems with our shower. When... More

Lovely hotel really modern inside, although the outside could do with a fresh coat of paint. The room it's self was really modern decent shower and very clean and tidy we had a sea view and it was definitely worth it.

Arrived expecting the worst having read reviews placed after I had made booking. The outside is indeed rundown but the view is awesome. The bedrooms are clean & modern however the room we had was situated right by the entrance door so could hear people opening & slamming the door throughout the night. The single glazing & gaps around the... More

Mixed bag. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the room was modern and clean. The breakfast options were also nice. However, the bedroom was small and not worth the extra we paid for an ocean view. The bed was also hard and the shower was temperamental. It went from hot to cold and then in the morning... More

In October 2013 we booked a nostalgic Fleet Air Arm two day reunion weekend for over 95 people, to be held in October this year (2014). Initially all went well –in October 2013 the Bay View room, ‘Hot Fork Silver Buffet’ and 45 bedrooms were booked, and a substantial deposit paid. In May this year it all started to go... More

Paid £109 per night for twin room, the room was situated in a prefab section around the back of the hotel. Awful views of bins and what looked like workers quarters. Restaurant food was very poor and they also shut the bar at 11pm which is odd for a hotel. Staff tried but little things like no iron available as... More

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend approximately 4 months ago. paid roughly £70 for the one evening's stay, in a room with a double bed and sea view. Upon arrival, we were given the keys to a room which had no sea view, it was just the rear of the hotel with a view of more buildings. We... More

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. It has wonderful views over the bay. The rooms are chalet style but recently modernised which we found tasteful. We stayed as part of a family group. So can comment about various rooms. We found the rooms lacked plug points and hooks for towels etc, but generally clean and was good to... More
