Our family had the 3 rooms at the top of the house, owner's were friendly and we were made to feel welcome. For the price we paid £30 pp pn facilities were fine. We had a sink in each room but the shower and toilet (which was a tight fit!!) were on the outside landing. Our breakfast was excellent, and... More

We paid £90 for a family room in mid August which slept 5 (2 adults and 3 children) that included a full english breakfast for all of us. The b&b, with its friendly staff, is situated only a 10 minute walk from the town centre and sandy beaches. Its not the most glamorous of places but for a cheap place... More

I stayed here for one night in August with my two daughters. I paid £90. The welcome was ok , the lady who owns it is nice. But the room! For £90 I expected better. It was clean and at the back of the house away from the busy main road. But the bed linen was cheap nylon!!! I've never.... More

We chose this b&b in June (before we saw the negative reviews on booking.com) for an overnight stay for the Olympics. Obviously, the price was going to be bumped up, and we paid £120 inc breakfast and all day parking 10 mins away from the beach. My partner had a good conversation with the owner before we arrived and we... More

We stayed at the Galway House as we wanted a B and B away from the seafront on New Years Eve so that once we had finished partying we could go somewhere a little bit quiet .. it did not quite turn out this way! We arrived at the Galway and were initially confused as there was a sign on... More

A very dated B&B, a good drive from the seafront. We stayed here for a Triathlon and had to be up at 4am, we couldn't keep our window open (despite it being June) as the noise from outside from so loud. We had people walking up and down the road shouting all night. Our room was tiny!! a cheap metal... More

A two-day weekend in Weymouth turned into an excellent family seaside-short-break in large part thanks to a lucky find in this guest house. From the street, it may seem unprepossessing, but inside one finds a warm welcome, an excellent breakfast, and a good base for a couple of days at one of England's best beaches. I have two well-behaved children,... More
