We stayed at the Sun Inn from Friday 30 August to Monday 02 September for a birthday trip. We met the landlady first and she couldnt do enough for us; very warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We'd requested a parking permit which was provided as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the Indian Room which overlooks... More

Advertised as en suite-but have to use shared toilets. Very noisy. Door to accommodation jammed to had to phone the owners to let us in, they were not amused. No acknowledgement or apology. Landlord friendly but this wife was miserable as sin and never spoke. Vacuum cleaner left behind the door at the top of the stairs, so almost fell... More

Love the place the rooms are clean Jackie Nigel and Emily are lovely and Sky the dog! It's a friendly pub and a good place to meet the locals. There are loads of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep plus the beach and town. I've got no complaints about breakfast and all the better pleased if there's entertainment in the... More

Weymouth is absolutely bursting with B&Bs! I really felt that for £5 more it would have been worth staying elsewhere. On arrival they did not check our booking or even ask our names, but took us straight up to the room - we could have been anyone! No explanation about anything other than how to get in the door, where... More

This isn t a hotel. It is rooms above a pub, and that is how it sells itself. We needed a cheap place to stay for one night when we went to the Olympic sailing in Weymouth. Bad points were that the rooms were tired and streets outside were very noisy with traffic and people during the night. Good points... More

Stayed for just one night with the wife as I needed to be in Weymouth for Saturday morning. Landlord and wife very pleasant, room clean but the place is looking very tired. Woke very early by road sweepers and traffic, breakfast ok, nothing special. Not sure if value for money or not. Good Indian restaurant round the corner, called Chillies

This cost £75 a night in an out-of season holiday resort, enough money I would have thought to expect something decent. But no, the room we were offered had no toilet even though it was advertised as "en-suite" One would normally expect a toilet! We had to pay £95 double to get this. Even this left a lot to be desired-no... More
