Excellent value for the money you pay, great food,cheap drinks,good entertainment. There was a problem with NOROVIRUS, not helped by the warmth in the hotel,but if it had been cold in there people would be complaining about that. We have had no symptoms of the virus so fair play to the hotel for containing it, you cannot blame the hotel... More

We stayed from 20th to 23 February. Hotel in ideal position on the Esplanade overlooking sea. However it is grubby and tired. All the carpets could do with a good clean. l notified the hotel manager when my wife went down with a sickness midway through our holiday and i had to call the paramedics for her who arrived soon after. little help was forthcoming from management who informed us it'll only last 24 hrs. Came back yesterday. Hotel still suffering from a virus causing sickness and diarrhoea. 25% of our bus trip had it. Very tough for the elderly. Apart from that the hotel is very tired. Particularly the rooms. Ours smelt damp and the decoration was poor. The shower room really needed attention. The room was also cold and the carpet felt wet.... More
