The Russell Hotel has a great outlook being right across the road from the sweeping bay. At the moment it is about to undergo a big upheaval as it's planned to combine it with The Prince Regent next door. I think it;s a good idea. Our break was a 5 nighter with Brent Thomas coaches. Excellent value for the money you pay, great food,cheap drinks,good entertainment. There was a problem with NOROVIRUS, not helped by the warmth in the hotel,but if it had been cold in there people would be complaining about that. We have had no symptoms of the virus so fair play to the hotel for containing it, you cannot blame the hotel... More

We stayed from 20th to 23 February. Hotel in ideal position on the Esplanade overlooking sea. However it is grubby and tired. All the carpets could do with a good clean.
