My sister and I stayed at the edenhurst for 3 nights. 17th_20th July. We had a twin room. We were asked to pay the balance as soon as we got there (had already paid a 30% deposit) before we were shown our room. The accommodation was very basic and totally overpriced. The beds were cheap tubular beds and squeaked every... More

Sorry you did not have a enjoyable stay with us but firstly we are a Guest house Not a HOTEL, you stayed for 3 nights and did not bring any of your complaints to our attention so we could resolve them at the time. Staff always try to converse with costumers at breakfast but unfortunately some guest don't want to... More

I stayed at the Edenhurst in room 1 (twin room, back of the hotel) for a weekend. It was immaculately clean, well appointed with a good shower and delicious citrus toiletries. The hotel is clean and well run, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts are kind and helpful. Tis B & B ticks all the boxes, and its... More

the Edenhurst is in a very good position right on the sea-front. We stayed June 2014 for two nights with our grandaughter in a family room no 3. We had tried to book a hotel, but they all seemed to be full. It seems a very popular place for OAP coach holidays. We assumed by paying £200 for the room... More

£100.00 per night for 2 adults and 1 child bed and breakfast is not expensive in Weymouth. All rooms do get hot during the day when the sun is on them but cool down in the evening when customers return from there days out. If customers ask us we can tell them to leave the curtains closed to stop the... More

We got such a nice stay at the Edenhurst in a very big room with astonishing sea-view with an lovely antique balcony, where you can sit and watch what's going on on the beach. It's realy close to everything in Weymoth: Beach (only have to cross a street), station (not 5 minutes away), nice harbour with bars and restaurants and... More

Enjoyed a brief stay here overnight alone before a fishing trip. The room was spotless and well worth the money! I would stay there again. Right on the seafront and within day reach of restaurants etc.

The first time I turned up late in the evening, bedraggled in the rain and nowhere to stay. Bill and Cindy made me very welcome and I stayed in a very comfortable clean room. English breakfast was really good. So of course next time I visited Weymouth I went straight back and will do so again. The perfect location in... More

We missed our ferry and ended up staying here last minute. The owners were very obliging as we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our ferry. Thank you for the positive parts of your review. As it was bank holiday, it was difficult to get accommodation with booking 2 weeks in advance so paid a lot of money for a family room, which obviously has an effect on the overall rating. The rating is also based on a comparison of value for money experienced elsewhere, rather than a comparison as to what you might get... More

Thank you for your positive comments. In reference to the price, this was for a family room that sleeps 4 people with a sea view. It seemed expensive as there was only 3 people occupying the room. Our smaller family room for 3 had already been pre-booked. We have a daily clean of all the rooms normally between 10.30 am... More
