the Edenhurst is in a very good position right on the sea-front. We stayed June 2014 for two nights with our grandaughter in a family room no 3. We had tried to book a hotel, but they all seemed to be full. It seems a very popular place for OAP coach holidays. We assumed by paying £200 for the room... More

We got such a nice stay at the Edenhurst in a very big room with astonishing sea-view with an lovely antique balcony, where you can sit and watch what's going on on the beach. It's realy close to everything in Weymoth: Beach (only have to cross a street), station (not 5 minutes away), nice harbour with bars and restaurants and... More

Enjoyed a brief stay here overnight alone before a fishing trip. The room was spotless and well worth the money! I would stay there again. Right on the seafront and within day reach of restaurants etc.

The first time I turned up late in the evening, bedraggled in the rain and nowhere to stay. Bill and Cindy made me very welcome and I stayed in a very comfortable clean room. English breakfast was really good. So of course next time I visited Weymouth I went straight back and will do so again. The perfect location in... More

Stayed the night at the establishment for a late break. Hotel well positioned by the sea with a great view from the balcony. A lovely room with a en suite which was of good size and free view tv. Bedrooms of good size. Breakfast was of a good standard. Owners warm and welcoming and would be very happy to stay... More

We missed our ferry and ended up staying here last minute. The owners were very obliging as we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our ferry. They gave us help and advice in parking our car so it was near to digs as my husband is disabled. They let us leave and drop the key in so... More

Thank you for the positive parts of your review. The room you had was the only one available that would sleep 3 people at short notice, the price was reduced by £4.00 each for not having breakfast, our prices are probably a little bit dearer than other guest houses that are not on the sea front especially for 1 night at... As it was bank holiday, it was difficult to get accommodation with booking 2 weeks in advance so paid a lot of money for a family room, which obviously has an effect on the overall rating. The rating is also based on a comparison of value for money experienced elsewhere, rather than a comparison as to what you might get... More

Thank you for your positive comments. In reference to the price, this was for a family room that sleeps 4 people with a sea view. It seemed expensive as there was only 3 people occupying the room. Our smaller family room for 3 had already been pre-booked. We have a daily clean of all the rooms normally between 10.30 am... More

I stayed here for two month, in the summer of 2012. Our company had rented the entire place for me and some co-workers during that time. The place is nicely located accross the road from Weymouth beach. It is within easy walking distance of down town Weymouth and beautiful Weymouth harbour, where most of the shops, restaurants and pubs are.... More

The Edenhurst, situated on Weymouth's esplanade. We are ideally situated close to Weymouth's Victorian clock tower on the sea front. The sea is literally on our front door step. It is only a short walk to the town centre, shops, bars, restaurants, railway and bus station and Weymouth's historic harbour. We have double, twin, family and single rooms, some with sea views. Most are en-suite. Our breakfast room has fantastic views across Weymouth bay. ... more   less
