The hotel location was superb,, right on the sea front and in the town centre. The reception staff were warm and inviting and went the extra mile to help me with parking information. The hotel provided a parking permit in the form of a small deposit and this enabled me to park right opposite the hotel. The rooms were clean... More

Great location on the Esplanade. Asked for two single rooms for 1 night and were given twin rooms for no extra cost. £30 a room including breakfast. Yes, very basic but you get what you pay for. Rooms clean and breakfast great. Only down side was the receptionist when we booked in. She could do with some customer service training!

From the outside this hotel looks quite impressive but step inside and it soon changes. We were greeted by the receptionist that felt like she didn't even want to speak so said the minimum words she could get away with. We were given our key and had to find our room through loads of corridors. I understand that it is... More

This is the third time we have stayed. The place has been given a lick of paint sinve closing in October. The place looks tidy, inviting and fresh. It is lovely and warm. The room 1 over looked the donkeys. A superb bonus. Especially when they are packing away and the donkeys get to roll in the sand. I recently... More

We have been staying here now for the last 14 years and we have always been satisfied with our stay. For a 2* hotel, this really isn't bad, I've stayed in worse. We always get a fantastic room with a view and great, attentive service, even the staff know us by name now! The rooms: The rooms are always very... More

Old fashioned. Cold. Smelt of old people. Rude waitress and so so so soo many hairs in the bed. Blonde and black. Hadn't been hovered in years. Dust on the floor by the beds. They only wash the light bedding not the fleeced or throws. Disgusting!

Stayed here as part of a hen night. Myself and my best friend had a twin room, on entrance you aren't greeted by the staff or reception, we dragged our bags up the stairs and began our journey through the maze of corridors and paper signs with room numbers and arrows printed on them. When we got to our room,... More
