We were in room 23A at the back of the hotel. No view except to the alley. Just a warning but they had no toiletries available....not even soap - so heads up and bring your own! This room as small and basic! Where the room was situated off of the alley, it was busy and noisy all night. Good nightlife.... More

You get what you pay for. It cost £99 for 2 nights with breakfast. What more can I say Yes it's dated the rooms need decorating and they're a bit small. But It's quiet comfortable warm and clean. It's an excellent base for visiting Weymouth.

Staff not friendly in the slightest. Checkout 11am, they actually knocked on the door at 11.03 to remind us!! Whilst waiting in the lounge a cleaner leaned over me to open a window and water the plants, no apology or acknowledgement. Whilst the hotel was clean with good facilities, unfortunately they did not do enough to make me overlook this.... More

We came on an organised "Club" outing for a weekend break. We do this twice a year through a through a tour company and it is normally "you get what you pay for" inclusive of coach and meals and entertainment etc. All I can say is this is the best of this type of hotel I have stayed in during... Took my mum away for a couple of days - very accomodating staff / good full breakfast - can accomodate mobility scooter or will organise day hire for you - has own bar with entertainment. Ideal for older clientele as access to promenade, shops and ferry to Jersey within easy distance - beds a bit soft and room quite basic... More

Agree with other reviews. I had the one off experience of finding the hotel full of Oxford students reading Earth Sciences. They were on a field trip. Arrived with rock hammers; boots; ruck sacks; smelly hair; and all sorts of field gear. It rather cluttered the place. Breakfast conversation, as you can imagine, was rather sedimentary. One of them, a... More

We booked for one night as a halfway point on the way home from Conwall, to be honest I come from Dorset and have never really liked Weymouth but thought after the Olympics and the town being spruced up it may be ok to visit. The room was right at the back of the hotel through miles of corridors and... More

We booked this for a weekends fishing trip and had low expections which were certainly met. My room was tiny and probably no wider than 5ft....it felt like an afterthought. The hotel could do with some better internal signage as it is like trying to find your way round Hogwarts. The location is great, right up until about midnight when... More

This hotel enjoys a fine seafront location, but that's also a drawback, because the area is popular, and it gets pretty noisy late into the night, and even into the wee small hours. Add to this the fire alarm going off twice, which was ignored by pretty much every occupant, and it becomes difficult to get a good night's sleep.... More

Just spent monday to friday in this hotel. This is a friendly, typical seaside hotel, a little worn around the edges but the room was comfortable, if a lttle small (single) and was cleaned daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the dining room staff who delivered the excellent cooked breakfast in double quick time. The big... More
