Spent four nights here in mid Oct,and was plesantly surprised after usual negative remarks. The hotel sits right on the sea front with easy access to the rest of Weymouth. I paid the extra for a sea view which was well worth it despite the early morning delivery lorries going by. The hotel is great value for money ,the room... More

This hotel has everything you need. The view is beautiful right by the beach, food is good and the weather was very nice. Used this hotel for my National citizen service award, and it was perfect for it!

Well I must be honest and say this is one of the best 2* hotels I've stayed in so far, in my opinion it should be a 3*, the rooms are nice and cosy, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place as a whole is well kept and clean, ok it's not the ritz and don't expect... More

Wouldnt stay again. Rooms tiny, hotel tacky and full of coach parties. We stayed in a very noisy back room which my husband could almost reach both walls with arms out stretched. Staff were pleasant enough. Cantt rate breakfast as didnt want to go down for it. Just wanted to leave.

Close to the town and harbour, facing the beach this hotel is in need of an update. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Our room was small but comfortable although there was a lack of plugs and the toilets are noisy. We booked a parking permit which is a necessity in Weymouth where parking is a nightmare... More

Excellent location over looking the beach. Top marks for value. Single room had all the facilities required and very clean. The restaurant manager was very attentative at breakfast. There was plenty of choice at breakfast all served at the table and the restaurant was bright and airy with comfortable chairs. I booked a parking permit in advance with the hotel... More

Hotel is old but clean. Everything seems to work. Breakfast was superb. Parking easy and free. No wifi in rooms, few electrical sockets, and a painfully slow lift were the only drawbacks. We will stay there again - it's great value for money compared to B&B or fancy hotels.

Everywhere very clean. However we had room 15 just like a box room, samwiched between the other rooms, the noise of... More

The hotel has seen better days, probably about 50 years ago, I was in room 42, the room was big enough but the beds were like marshmallows and the pillows where not in the first flush of youth. The bathroom did not need an extractor fan as the window did not close properly. The hotel appears to specialise in pensioners... More
