This was my 10th year at the Leam , 9 with the previous owners, when the food and cleanliness were a hundred times superior, I have never before had a bad word to say about this hotel or the staff, but felt I had to put on a review, after seeing fellow members of my coach party blamed for ruining... Just returned after a short stay. Never ever again will I stay in this hotel. Shower / bath filthy, cracked surround on bath giving sharp edges, loose tiles around bath with growing mould, cabinet door falling off reported every day but nothing changed. Stained walls. All I can say is that so called 'House Keeping' need to find out the... More

Hi Lija Thanks for the positive comments about our front of house staff they are great and luckily don't have to deal with too many 'disgruntled' customers. We are blest they are the exception rather than the rule. Our housekeepers work hard to clean the rooms and bathrooms and it is clear that we need to replace some our bathrooms... More

Have just come back after a four day trip with our local holiday Company...will never ever stay in this Hotel again...not even if it was free. Our bathroom was horrendous, filthy literally. I don't think the bath mat has ever been taken out of the bath...did complain to a chap called Andy who said he was one of the managers....he... More

Hi Lassie I think we have to take this feedback on the chin. We do have great staff so thank you for your positive feedback around them. Our housekeeping staff work hard and we believe the rooms are spotlessly clean however the bathroom you and your cousin have commented about does need replacing. We are refurbishing the hotel as quickly... More

Don't just don't, my cousin and I just stayed here on a long weekend, our room was filthy, and as for the bathroom, the cabinet was so high on the wall we couldn't see in the mirror the door of it was falling off, the wall was badly stained behind the bathroom door, and as for the so called shower, it was... I stayed at the Leam hotel in August 2014 and my stay was very pleasant. My room was very clean and comfortable. The view from my room was great as I could see the beach We stayed for breakfast and dinner and both were very tasty and there was lots of choice. The staff were great as they kindly sang... More

I booked this hotel for family members coming to our wedding. When I first made enquiries the man behind the desk could not have been more helpful. He checked every detail of the family's needs, and worked out an affordable rate. It is right on the seafront by the clock tower. it looks average from the outside but once in... More

My partner and I went to the Leam Hootel last week. We were supposed to have a twin room with a sea view, instead we had a double room we couldn't swing a cat in. The food was terrible - cold most of the week and not properly cooked. We sat at a table in the dining room and the... More

Hello Dawn Its such a shame you feel this way about The Leam. As you know the weather was awful that week and so was the mood of a handful of guests who seemed determined not to enjoy their holiday. Taking your feedback in turn, on a coach trip its the luck of the draw which room you have. You... More

Hi Doreen I am sorry you didn't enjoy your trip to The Leam. The weather was truly awful that week and so I'm afraid was the mood of a handful of guests that seemed determined to ruin the trip for the majority. Our staff especially in the restaurant are known for their professionalism, energy and smiles, they are rarely described... More
