While a little out of town and not the latest or most modern hotel, the Rembrandt was good value for a weekend away. Rooms were more than comfortable and reasonably priced. Staff were freindly and eager to help. Bar was ok and the restaurant while a bit canteen style was perfectly acceptable. Very pleasant weekend away after the Xmas hols.

January can be a difficult month, but not so much for me. I did need to contemplate a problem I have which is nothing to do with January. I took a couple of nights to restore my batteries. The place was excellent. to take away the blues with blue skies excellent food and beds.

My mother and her two friends stayed at this hotel for the New Year. We joined them for lunch on New Year's Day, what a delight. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. They had such a good time they have booked to go back in December 2015.

At the last minute we decided to go away for New Year, although relieved to have found somewhere, was a little wary as to why they had rooms available. On arrival we parked in the large car park and were welcomed by a friendly receptionist, who talked us through the events of our New Year stay and gave us the... More

Had a great 2 day break. New years eve gala dinner/dance was very enjoyable. The room was set out beautifully. Food was delivered to tables quickly and efficiently and was hot. Quality of food was very good (they were catering for approx 130 on tables of 12). There were 6 in our party and we all had a great time.... More

Great hotel, very good location, plenty of parking. Plenty of local amenities, including Local convenience shops, pubs, fast food outlets, various other shops in walking distance. Supermarket short drive away. Very good staff and facilities.

We had booked a weekend break at the Kings arms in Dorchester but a couple of weeks before they cancelled that and transferred us to this hotel in Weymouth and I'm so pleased they did, brilliant weekend. This weekend was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have got a better choice. Room, excellent. Staff. excellent. Food, excellent.... More
