Location is perfect, the receptionist was very helpful, hotel is okay needs updating... No car park! The breakfast is horrible tinned tomatoes, sausage doesn't contain more than 10% meat really mushy.. Poached egg isn't poached egg... Need to improve big time! The best thing is the location!

We spent a Saturday night at this hotel and we got exactly what we had previously read on Trip Advisor.... This hotel is ideally situated for the town, harbour, shops and even the beach it is easy walking distance to everywhere. But and this is sadly where it has a downfall should you happen to get a room at the... More

The best thing about this hotel is it's staff. All of them were helpful, friendly and cheerful. The breakfast is good and hearty and the bar prices cheaper than most pubs in the town. The rooms are adequate, if a little tired, but clean. Our room was at the rear, so no problem with noise, but we understand that rooms... More

One night last minute via booking.com. I can't fault this place. I heard it can be noisy so took earplugs. A very large 2* hotel in a great location with outstanding friendly staff. The busy breakfast room is run so smoothly/efficiently unlike anything I've seen before .. my daughter and I were quite in awe of it. The only downside... More

My wife and I visited this hotel initially for three days but extended our stay to six, so pleased were we with our choice of hotel for a mini-break. The hotel's location to the town, beautiful beach and the road bridge crossing to what we were told is known as "proper Weymouth" by the hotel staff, makes it ideally placed... More

From arrival until departure we couldn't fault the politeness and courtesy of the staff, particularly Ann, -- food a basic menu each evening, thankfully my Gluten Free requirements well catered for,-- the bed comfortable but Room #21 at the rear of the hotel quite noisy from the evening revellers at the Sailors Return, admittedly the weather was very warm, so... The hotel was central to the night life which suited all ages. The staff, on arrival, were organised and helpful, booking in and room allocation was painless and very efficient. The rooms were clean and tidy and the food was good. As we were a large party, the choice of food was good, it was tasty and well cooked. The... More

I stayed here overnight on a last minute booking. The hotel was clean, central and convenient. I have to agree though, it was very noisy at the front. The staff were very helpful and friendly and my room was comfortable and clean but it's clearly a hotel used by coach trippers which means the public areas get filled up quickly.... More

Great location, right next to the marina and 5minute walk along the water to the main beach. Lots to do nearby and lots of places to eat and drink. That being said, by "lots of places to eat and drink nearby" does mean Friday, Saturday and Monday (student night) make the area incredibly noisy. Nightclubs and bars very close by... More
