Finding this hotel is problematic due to the Weymouth one-way system. Parking isn't easily accessible for the same reason. We were put in a side alley for £3 a night although there is secure garage parking for the elite. Our room was single glazed, tired, no frills. The en-suite didn't have a bolt on the door. The shower cycled hot/cold continually... More

Perfect hotel for a Weymouth break. Right alongside both the harbour and the main shops, and about 5 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is a little dated and rambling inside, but the staff and breakfasts are excellent!

Right in the heart of Weymouth - clean tidy hotel - rambles over several buildings so easy to lose your way round the corridors! Staff friendly and very helpful . Booked through ViaMichelin which for an extra £7 gave you the facility to cancel without extra cost - £67 for twin/double en suite b&b . Right by Town Bridge with... More

Booked at the last moment, the staff were very helpful and smiley, the Hotel was ageing but very clean and tidy. Superbly located with easy reach of sea front, harbour and Portland. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we shall return.

An excellent stay over Easter with a really friendly staff, excellent food, Very clean and comfortable room and a good situation in the town. The only thing that let's the hotel down is the evening entertainment it was too dated needs more varied and modern performers because not all the guests are oap's.

Lovely friendly staff good value for money very basic my only gripe is the parking they give you a permit and you have to find parking in the peak season it's a nightmare took us 20 minutes about 10 minute walk from the hotel ok if your able to walk if you have a disability could be more difficult

My daughter and myself found the crown following an internet search after a failed camping trip and when we arrived we were met at the door by the porter/receptionist who showed us round to the car park, this gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. When we went in we were booked in by the receptionist who also was very nice.... More
