Purchased by brand new owners in July 2016, with 18 years of hotel experience behind them, this guesthouse has received a new lease of life! After having undergone an extensive refurbishment from new en-suites to re-plastering to new carpets and furniture we are confident that we are providing a clean and comfortable nights stay. Located just 1 minute from the Seafront and a 5 minute walk away from the town centre we are close to all the local attractions and in an ideal location. Each bedroom has a seaside beach theme which looks fresh, bright and slightly quirky. We have a Coffee/Breakfast Lounge, which guests are invited to relax in throughout the day. We serve both cooked breakfasts or continental breakfasts with tea, coffee and breakfast juices included at our sister hotel less that 1 minute walk up the road. We are also have family rooms and we are pet friendly for an additional charge per night.

This was a budget weekend away as we were pretty late in booking and all our normal b&b's were snapped up. I wouldn't choose to stay this end of the Esplanade as there are a few ropey characters always about. We had the small double and it is very small, the en-suite was very small and needed a complete refurb as the tiles are very badly stained and it's pretty grot. I personally didn't find the bed very comfy, it's basic. Just after 10pm the dog that was in one of the rooms started yapping, and continued for quite some time. Then as we were fast asleep 3am it starts again, completely ruined our nights sleep. I don't know if anyone is on site at night which is not acceptable. Also outside the small double room is a toilet, so every time someone walks across the landing,

Me and my partner came from Leeds and stayed here. We had an absolutely amazing stay and could not fault the service we received! The owners were friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome and valued and you could tell that they really cared about providing an excellent service. One owner told us about different things to see in the local area and even told us about a few gems that a lot of people don't know about, such as the fossil museum in Lulworth, which I thought was excellent. Both owners were very chatty and friendly and you could tell, they really cared about their guests. Both so lovely! The room was bright, clean and well decorated. Had a nice home feeling to it. The room was set out very nicely with a really cool boat mirror on the wall that I thought was

Well we stayed just 2 nights, I had plenty of communication with owners, I asked for some flowers and pink prosecco in the room, this was no bother and was perfect. We arrived much later than planned but they stayed up for us without any fuss. Yes breakfast would of been nice but there are plenty of places serving breakfast nearby so no big deal. If I had to criticise at all the bathroom could do with a revamp bit it was perfectly useable and clean.

We have just returned from Weymouth after visiting my mum and dad who love there. This time we wanted to stay in a B&B and had chosen Timrick Lodge. We were in room 6, very clean room with a double bed and single bed. It had everything you needed. Tea, coffee, towels and toiletries. The room is very warm but the owner gave us a fab which made a lot of difference and kept us cool. The bedding was good quality and smelt very clean. The only issue we had was the quality of the bed. It made such a noise when you moved and creaked. Also the headboard, may as well just take it away it’s of no use. For two nights it was ok but I do think the bed base needs replacing. We will stay here again but only if the bed base is quiet 🤫. Great value, you get what you pay for

Nice hotel with a friendly host who was very accommodating and ensured check in was smooth. We had two family rooms as stopped with another family. The family room for 4 was spacious and was good that had side room for children. The 3 bed room was again fine as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Shower could do with an upgrade but this didn’t spoil our stay and would happily rebook and stop again. Thanks for the pleasant stay 😁

Had a great stay with my family. Andy couldn’t do more for us. Lovely room, very clean and had lots of character. Not far from the beach but not in the noisy area! I would say 100yards or less. Restaurant at the 3 chimneys smokehouse was very good nearby Very affordable for what you get! Will stay again!

Friendly welcome, lovely clean and bright room, comfy bed. Only downside was lack of parking, but managed to find a space on the road in the end, and didn't need to move once parked as town was within walking distance. Toiletries provided, and complimentary biscuits in room.

Speechless and struggling with this B&B...well actually no breakfast so B, at same cost as B&B. Not sure which rooms other positive comments based on but definitely not the room we had. Mold, dust, stains on valance and bed base but worst of all a smell that couldn't get rid of. Windows permanently open and various air fresheners and sprays didnt work. Did mention it as we checked out so hopefully get sorted for future guests. However my advice look elsewhere folks!

We requested to move out trip due to being pregnant and suffering with some health complications (we booked the trip before finding out) and we received no response for days. A few days later we decided to cancel our trip with the hope to rearrange at a later date (after the baby) as we didn't want to be 4 hrs from home if anything did happen Again no reply. When we did eventually receive a reply we were told we wouldnt be able to cancel or rearrange and almost£400 will still be owed to the venue. I do not believe that they would struggle to fill our booking with well over a week notice on the middle of the summer holidays. And even more so if they have replied to our numerous previous messages we had sent. I would not recommend, if you can't master customer services- I

Avoid at all cost's!! Absolutely filthy! Mould galore in bathroom & around windows. Thick layer of dust on everything & Room stinks! Carpets filthy & covered in stains. Mattresses & Duvets stained with god knows what! Water kept going hot & cold. Dated decor I can live with but this place has no standards of cleanliness what so ever! They should be ashamed of themselves. I sent the first night trying to find somewhere else to stay but everywhere was fully booked.
