We have just returned from a 5 night stay and were delighted with our experience. It was the first time that we had used a B&B and would definitely recommend a stay in Birch House. Kathy and Pete were extremely welcoming and the accommodation was beautiful: large enough that you had your own space but cosy enough to allow you... More

After a dreadful car journey, it was lovely to be welcomed at Birch House B&B by Kathy (and the dogs, of course!) with the offer of a cup of tea. Birch House is a fantastic place and our room was very comfortable with an amazing bathroom. The atmosphere is very welcoming and it was great to spend a quiet moment... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on 15th June 2014 and we were not disappointed. Kathy and Pete were very welcoming. We booked the King size deluxe room which was expensive but well worth it, en-suite had that wow factor. Courtesy tray was replenished daily with everything one could need. Breakfast was cooked to order and had a very varied choice,... More

I took my husband to Weymouth as a base for exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast, and knowing that he loves his 5 star luxury, wanted to book somewhere special for our short break. Birch House B&B did not disappoint. On arrival, we were welcomed by Kathy and the lovely Lola (the dog). When we were shown to our room, we... More

This is a quality property with excellent and spacious rooms. Breakfast was spot on and the hosts as good as you are going to get anywhere. Although this is out of the centre of town its a very pleasant 25 min walk to the harbour (thus working up an appetite for dinner) but if you don't fancy the walk the... More

We stayed at Birch House for a few days in the New Year. It's a beautiful family home, our hosts were helpful without being intrusive. Our room was stylish and comfortable. Wonderful home-made breakfast. Not right on the beach, but on the bus route. Definitely recommended!

My husband, son and I recently stayed a few nights at Birch House while our daughters were training at the National Sailing Academy. I honestly cannot praise it enough. The house has been beautifully decorated and furnished in a New England style and our bedroom and bathroom were absolutely impeccable. The whole house has a freshly painted look to it... More
