Myself, husband and 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old girls. We stayed for one night in a family room. Celebrating my special birthday. Very very child friendly hotel, staff very happy and welcoming to us and the children, not at one point did we ever get that look that parents dread!!!! Amazing facilities for the children, lots of safe... More

Just got home from 1 night stay at Moonfleet Manor, where do I start. Firstly the setting is beautiful, views of the fleet are awesome. The staff are really lovely and not forgetting Snoopy the dog. Yes I have read the reviews complaining about decor etc, but take no notice, the place has so much character and very welcoming. The... More

We've just got home from a fabulous 3 night stay at Moonfleet. This was our first time away with our nearly 6 month old baby. The team at Moonfleet were friendly and professional. The care and attention to detail was outstanding. The food was excellent, the wine list comprehensive and the desserts far too tempting! The children's menu looked great... More

What's lovely hotel. It's really set up for families but we went as a couple and had a great time. The pool is nice the grounds are great and the service was very good indeed. Minor gripes: the internet sucks but we didn't go for that. The duvet was over hot and there was no aircon and finally the pillows... More

We didn't stay at the hotel so can't review the rooms. We only booked an afternoon tea which was delightful, I would highly recommend. Pets appear to be welcome at the hotel. There were lots of lovely little touches around for residents for example a wooden chest at the entrance full of buckets and spades for any children who maybe... More

Having been to Moonfleet a few times over the years, it is always good when you get to the end of the long and winding lane to see Moonfleet Manor with the amazing back drop of the fleet and chesil beach beyond. We arrived for a short break over the bank holiday weekend, and were really looking forward to spending... More

Just returned from an enjoyable three day stay at this comfortable hotel. It's really somewhere to " get away from it all" and ls remotely situated in a lovely rural , coastal location. Great for walkers! It's quirky, slightly stuck in a time zone long passed, and It is the most family friendly hotel we have ever stayed at, and... More

If you need a break from a noisy, busy life then look no further. No passing traffic, green fields with cropping horses, the gentle ebb & flow of the tide washing pebbles on Chesil beach. Standing on the balcony at sunset, listening to blackbirds calling to each other. The rooms are simple but clean & neat, with tv, DVD, kettle,... More

Having visited another hotel in the group before, we knew we could expect great facilities for kids; crèche, swimming pool, baby listening service etc. There was also a huge play barn which was enjoyed by our son. We really enjoyed our stay. Spending quality time with the family whilst being able to relax and unwind. The food was very good.... More

Walking the SWCP is terribly rewarding, especially when you come across a watering hole like the Moonfleet. It felt like we walked into the middle of an Agatha Christie movie....please set your watch back to 1966. We found a quiet place, outside on the patio, in brilliant sunshine and my wife gratefully found the loos (you know what girls are... More

Dear nickmBedford, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your teas (approved by the Queen as well!!) and that you were fortified for the remainder of your walk on the South Coast Coastal Path, which does run past the end of our garden. We look forward to... More
