Offering excellent value for money, this hotel just gets better each time I have visited. Excellent sea front position, with the bar lounge and many rooms having sea views,a very clean and well run hotel. On arrival we were greeted by the resident manager Joanne, with tea and coffee served in the lounge and porterage service to take luggage to our rooms. The... More

Stayed at the Carlton for 4 days.Meal time was a bit like school regimented you had to order your food the day before. Not very big portions but ample. The position of the hotel was good right on the front. The room we had was newly decorated.Typical B&B.

We have just returned from a fabulous 4 day (3 night ) break at the Carlton Hotel in Weymouth. We booked through David Urquhart but the coach was an APT coach from Rayleigh. Tony the driver was helpful, informative and friendly. He kept us informed at every stage of the weekend and even included an extra stopover at Winchester because... More

A great base for visiting Weymouth, the hotel is warm and the owner Jo very welcoming. The food is plentiful with lots of choice and the bedrooms are comfy and clean. The hotel provides value for money and the bar and evening entertainment were great. I would highly recommend the hotel with it's wonderful sea views.

Having read others reviews of this hotel before traveling I was worried. I have just come back from staying at the hotel and although the hotel could do with some renovation the staff were brilliant, I am a vegetarian and the went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs and Jo the Hotels owner said just tell her... A group of 14 of us have just had a turkey & tinsel weekend in the carlton hotel & would definately recommend! The landlady Jo is possibly the most accommodating lady I've met at a hotel...she couldn't do enough for us which made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and perfect for a weekend away! The food was... More

Its in a marvellous position right on the sea front but that's as good as it gets,we booked after reading the reviews below, like the last reviewer I thought there must be another Carlton hotel. we had a balcony room with sash windows, when you are well into your 70s you... We recently spent a few days at the Carlton hotel. I am not going to go into detail I will keep this short. Resort quite nice, weather good for time of year, excursions pretty good. As for the hotel accommodation and food, it's no wonder the vast majority holiday abroad which is what we will be doing next year. Holidays... More

This is not a hotel, more like a cheap B & B,food was plain and really not thought out as was served dry fish with watery sprouts, yumyyyyyyy. Room very basic with small shower with toilet that smelt of stale urine.asked if heating was on as room was very cold and owner told me they could not afford to turn heating on... More

I was part of a David Urquhart tour were there was just 28 tourists. Because of this small number of guests, the hotel had ‘closed off’ the 3rd floor. I was given room 001, which was doubtfully the worst room in the hotel. It was dark and looked out onto the fire escape. The room was also next to the... More
