Fantastic hostess and a fabulously warm welcome. The rooms were amazing and we felt privileged to be staying somewhere so wonderful. The attention to detail, such as tea trays replenished several times a day and home made shortbread, could not be bettered.

We stayed here as part of a short break for two nights and we didn't want to leave. Our room (The Queen Mary Suite) was clean, comfortable, peaceful and had beautiful views. Our host, Suzie, was attentive and made sure we had a delightful stay. The house is very old with a wonderful history. We have already booked a return... More

We stayed in Zeals Suite, that was straight out of Downton Abbey - the luxurious cream and pale gold furnishings set against incredible views of the Dorset countryside and the sea beyond. Our friends stayed in the Queen Mary suite with sophisticated Art Deco furniture, a comfortable sitting room and gorgeous views. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and... More

On opening the door to our room, we were both awestruck at the sight of it, even though we'd seen a photograph. But the photo didn't convey the wonderful atmosphere or the little touches. The beautiful silk furnishings, the sumptuous window seats, the silver tea service, candles and plate of fruit made us feel like lord and lady of the... More

The place lies perfectly in the countryside on a slope with a view over the field and you can also see Weymouth and the English Channel in the distance. The pictures don't show the place from the best, they have a wonderful garden as well. The hosts are really nice and welcoming. We stayed 3 nights and we can warmly... More

Waddon House exceeded all our expectations and provided us with 5 Star plus accommodation. I wish that we had booked for more than one night so that we could wallow in the luxurious surroundings and wonderful history of the house. This is the most outstanding bed and breakfast in breathtaking surroundings with really gracious and stylish hosts. 5 star accommodation... More
