Thank you for your review and your kind words on the breakfast and views from the hotel. I can only aplogise that the room was not up to your expectations and if you had mentioned it to a member of staff we would have moved rooms for you. I take on board your comments about the reception area and as... More

Stayed for a weekend while attending a family wedding in the area. Great location in a big room overlooked the sea and beach (wish we had come when it was sunny!!) Great service at breakfast with the staff having loads of time for the little one. Good deal on price was very affordable. Quite old fashioned building but great base... More

Booked this for a family seaside break, we have 3 children and it is difficult to find hotels that have family rooms to suit our needs. Hotel Mon Ami was exceptionally competitively priced, their family rooms are very spacious and clean. Excellent selection for breakfast including selection of cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast, all included in the price. Right on... More

Hotel parking was good, hotel was in an excellent position, breakfast very good but times for serving very tight 8.30 till 9.15. Though obviously a lovely old building once it is very run down now and in need of decoration/renovation throughout. Our main concern though, was with the lack of security of rooms as we had someone open our door... More

After travelling all day, 10 hours, we were offered a choice of (frozen) fish and chips or shepherds pie for our evening meal! After that the hotel part of our holiday deteriorated. We spent most of our time in our bedroom because the lounge was too small, musty and cold. We have written to our coach company.

Where to start? Arriving at the hotel you enter a un inviting reception which is well past it's best (a trend repeated throughout the 'hotel') instantly you wonder how a run down overpriced building is allowed to call its self a hotel. We were told we could park round the back but would have to be ready to move my... More

Was made to feel like we were disturbing the regulars. Rooms are dated, no hot water in shower. Bar man was nice tho. Cleaners were nice. Owner was a little rude when going for breakfast. Told to go at 9 one day and we had to wait so went early the next and told "I told u not to be... More

August bank holiday 2013 had a family room with a good sea view & plenty of room for 4 people though room could have been cleaned better felt the cleaning was done with no thought one of our cups was stained & they put a few tea bags on a saucer rather than the usual hygienic ones in a wrapper...
