Stayed in triple seafront room, which is a decent size and has 2 large floor to ceiling windows. This, not only offers fabulous sea views, but also allows the sun to shine in which enhances the lightness of the room. The decor itself could do with been updated, but this is often the case with older style hotels. However, do... More

Was booking hotel to join with family party. I was interested to experience hotel as best value for money and previous reviews very mixed! Seen complaints about them asking for payment on arrival- generally ive had to pay for hotels when booking so was not unhappy about paying on arrival. Hotel inside is tired looking- not surprised though as similar... More

Room was a little dated, beds and mattresses could of done with something more modern and updated, springs were well worn. A updating of most of the hotel was needed. Stayed for 4 nights1st mistake, had to pay the minute you walked through the door 2nd mistake, was given a room on floor 2 having asked for a low floor as my husband had recently had heart surgery. The room was filthy thick dirt on skirting board and even dust on headboard. We asked for a change, the only upside... More

Stayed here in family room with my partner and Son. Nothing nice to say at all. The visit was one that put my son off a stunning holiday Town. From a bedroom that smelt of cigarette smoke (due to the pig in the next room smoking on balcony). To the delightful whiff of spew on the landing. The bedding wasnt... More

Things didn't look good on arrival, we found the carpark and entered through the bar. Almost immediately I could smell sick on the stairs by the dining room. And things just got worse. We booked a family room. It was cold, smelly and not very clean. Every pillowcase was a different colour and none matched the sheets and old blankets... More

We arrived late at night off the ferry from Guernsey and checked in,we then went downstairs to the bar, where apart from the barman,i was the youngest there(53)!! That did not bother me as there was an entertainer performing and the residents were having a "great" time singing along...and to be honest so were we (Ages between 14-53). The staff were... More

Just returned from a weekend stay. Location excellent and also parking, but the room left a lot to be desired. Thick dust on skirting boards and pictures. I can never understand why blankets and covers are on the beds, why not a duvet that the cover can be changed easily. If you are overweight don't even consider this hotel as... More
