A great host who went out of his way to help us. Superb quality breakfast with the best homemade granola I have ever tasted. A quiet relaxing stay room was clean and bed extremely comfortable. Would stay here again.

We stopped at the Esplanade 17th-18th October. We were greeted by Rob and from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Our room was spacious and clean and there was a lovely lounge area where you could sit and admire the sea view. Breakfast was delicious and locally sourced where possible. Nothing was too much hassle for Rob and the... More

The hotel is a credit to you Rob. A warm friendly greeting awaits you at the Esplanade. Beds are very comfortable with nice linen. Room 5 is a good size with a fantastic bathroom. Everything has been thought through from the tray of tea and coffee to tissues, cotton wool and cotton buds...Breakfast is amazing with local produce and everything... More

We booked this hotel as it had a good write up. Very friendly welcome but hotel room was tiny and dirty. The view was spectacular and the breakfast was great. We had to leave due to work issues and were made to pay for the two nights even though the hotel only had one other guest. We thought this was... More

This hotel is superb - the location, cleanliness, friendliness and price! Rob is a wonderful host and cooks the best breakfasts. It's a relaxed environment and having the lounge with honesty bar is great.

Rob the owner was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making sure we felt at home and taking the time to recommend some lovely places to visit. The hotel itself is a lovely location by the sea and 5 minutes from the town centre. The breakfast room is particularly nice- there is a great selection of local... More

The hotel is very well located 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from the city centre. Rob -the owner-was super helpful and gave us contacts for renting bikes in Weymouth and horse riding in Portland. The breakfast was delicious. Would recommend it to anyone 😉
