We stayed at The Royal Oak as we had a wedding in Weymouth. Our room was the coach house at the back of the pub which opened on to the car park.. The room was very well equipt and could have easily slept 5, it had a double bed, bunks and a pull out bed. We had a good selection... More

My partner & I wanted somewhere hassle free, clean & comfortable as we were cycling approx. 30 miles that day. We arrived on the Saturday and were given a safe place to put our bikes and were shown up to our room. We stayed in Room 7 which is right at the top of the Inn. This room was light,... More

We stayed one night on our way to Jersey. We has our very old collie with us, Our room opened up straight onto the outside area which was brilliant as our old boy didn't have any stairs or long corridors to negotiate ! The room was clean and comfortable, We had to leave quite early to catch the ferry. Our... More

We stayed here for 1 night before catching the early Condor ferry to Jersey. Very hospitable, and lovely accommodation. This pub doesn't do meals, but there are plenty of takeaways around the pub where you can bring in your own food

Situated on the main Dorchester road,It is a short walk from the seafront and a local park and with the bonus with its own car park. I booked 2 rooms and we were shown to the coach house around the back... More

Meeting up with old friends and Weymouth was halfway point. Royal Oak in good position with parking. Warm welcome by landlady, warm clean family rooms, great breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Royal Oak is a locals pub and made to feel welcome. Good Indian restaurant over the road.

We stayed in a room in the converted stablesfor 6 nights. Our room had easy access as requested because of mobility problems and fitted our requirements beautifully. The decor was modern, upto date and in good order. Our hostess Jane was charming and made us very welcome. We felt very comfortable and at home. The court yard for residents was... More

This has been our second visit to the Royal Oak. The pub offers good budget accommodation in a clean and friendly environment.Breakfasts are an optional extra and as we did not participate I cannot comment on quality or value for money. The pub however does not offer evening meals or "pub grub" and so you will need to plan your day...
