The hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. The couple who run the hotel are very friendly. Hotel had great facilities, opposite the beach and near to shops. Wifi in public area. Would definitely return

We stayed in this place for one night. The location is beautiful and the room we stayed in was a family room- clean, cosy, lovely decorated and big. The bathroom was built in the room which was a bit noisy but all right. The room was good value for money, however what we did not like about this place was... More

We stayed here in Room 14 named "Ferrybridge" arriving on a Friday evening after a longer than expected journey following delays caused by storms. We walked to the hotel from the train station, having been given email directions from Phil, one of the proprietors. It was very hot weather so we were looking forward to getting onto the seafront where... More

This hotel is well placed on the sea front and this is its main selling point. Car parking is with a local permit, which was useful but we had to park a 4 minute walk from the hotel, so packed were the small streets behind the hotel. We were on the top floor in a small room but fine for... More

Booked this hotel as it looked charming on the website but sadly did not meet up to expectations. Down sides were: email received when booked to say room would be ready for us at 12 but had to wait till 2.30 ( not too inconvenienced by this), had to pay for coffee in the lounge from a machine (expected this... The hotel is Clean and smells nice. Nice Decor. The rooms are comfy and of a very good standard, with a lift to most floors. The breakfast selection is excellent, comprising of fresh fruit , cereal and a good quality cooked breakfast. Hygene is excellent. The Owners are friendly and helpfull. Customers are given 5 star treatment from the minute... More

We stayed here for two nights during half term. A week before we went we had an email asking what time we would be arriving which I thought was a loverly touch. As we arrived the inner front door was locked with a door bell for attention. The host was soon at the door with a friendly welcome. He then... More

My wife and i stayed here for 1 night over the bank holiday. Great location right on the beach and close to the town centre. Only a 5 minute walk from the station. We had an email from them earlier in the week asking what time we would be arriving, which was a nice touch, and when we said 12... More

On arrival we had to Phone the Hosts at the Sherborne Hotel regarding parking, as we didnt know where to park, we asked during booking to be allicated a parking space but this was not done. Only to be told to park in Weymouth Station Carpark... Due to it being a bank holiday it would have cost us £8 to... More

We have limited parking permits which are distributed at check in time, which is the fairest way. Unfortunately none were available when this guest checked in as it was very busy in the town due to Easter. We tried to help as much as possible with locating public parking but maybe directions given were not adequate. The scaffolding was still... More

Rooms are adequate for this type of accomodation. Basic bathroom, a clean bed, a small tv but brilliant breakfast. Hosts were very nice and nothing was too much trouble. Biggest downside, a lack of free parking nearby. It was OK for us as it was dry but I wouldn't have fancied the 10 minute walk in the rain!
