Choosing the Chatsworth was an act of personal nostalgic indulgence. My family used to holiday there in the early 1970s and I had many happy memories of those days spent in and around Weymouth. Pleasant surprise number one was being greeted by David, the owner, the son of the owners who ran it in the past! He had purchased the... More

We had a lovely two nights stay at this hotel. Our room had a super view right across the harbour. There were seats in the window so you could sit & watch the world go by! The bed was huge & was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! The room had everything you needed such as toiletries,... More

Booked The Chatsworth to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Arrived Friday afternoon and quickly shown to our room. Fantastic view over the beach. Larger clean room with extra seating area. Requested champagne and chocolates to make the stay extra special. This was laid out in the room all very professional. Breakfast on the terrace in the sun was a nice... More

Lovely hotel, amazing location right by the harbour and beach/seafront, a great start to the day to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the harbour too. Staff are chatty, friendly and welcoming.Room was very comfortable. Hoping to visit Weymouth next year and this hotel will be my first choice to stay in.

We have stayed here for the past 2 visits to weymouth, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is either full English or there is a selection of cereals and toast. The staff are friendly and spend the time to have a chat with you. The view over the harbour is great, can't ask for much more.

You know how you make the mistake of ignoring the first seafood restaurant you come to whenever you walk around a harbour? - based on the assumption that there must be better restaurants further on...Well, DON'T walk on...stop at The Chatsworth and go no further. We were there last Wednesday, we were made to feel so welcome and the seafood... More

I booked a single room at the last minute, room was fine, shower a bit cramped. The location is very good, the staff/owners are friendly & the breakfast was excellent. Added bonus of a lovely terrace to the rear overlooking the harbour whilst eating breakfast.

Lovely one night stay at the Chatsworth, we arrived early and were greeted by friendly owners Dave & Lyn, allocation of our room was swift, we stayed in room 1 overlooking the Harbour, the room offers a king size bed, spotless linen, small bathroom with toiletries and shower, the only downside the room overlooks the outside decking, including adjacent hotels,... Thanks again to Dave & Lynne for another excellent stay. Room 1 with harbour view was superb the bed is huge & very comfortable. En suite is not huge but you don't sleep in there so room for the bed is far more important. As on our previous visit we were warmly welcomed by Dave and and given a parking... More
