Unlike the other rave reviews my stay was unpleasent and not one I will be repeating. I found the decor overwhelmingly feminine, particularly unpleasant was breakfast with a print of a naked man above my table. To be extremely fair Gabriel was extremely helpful sadly the same could not be said for his wife who I found cold and sneering.... More

We picked Green Gables from an internet list as this was our first time in Weymouth, and were very pleased with our stay. We had the four poster bed room, which was certainly special, and Paula and Gabriel were also very friendly and helpful. They booked us Floods restaurant, and advised on other local attractions like the great book and... More

After staying at many other b&b's in Weymouth as a single lady on business, I now always book to stay at the Green Gables time and time again. I strongly disagree with the unfair comment put on here and have actually stayed also at the Harlequin myself (again on business) where I felt unwelcome and waited ages before I was... More

I really wanted to give a really positive reveiw because there were moments of extreme helpfullness but in all honesty, considering the overall experiense I can't. On booking this last minute 2 night stay a very friendly & helpful response, same on quick veiwing night before stay {came from Harlequin guest house few hundred yards up the road who sadly... More

We (2 adults, 2 kids, 10 + 13) stayed at GGGH for one week last summer (2011). The room was lovely and had everything you could wish for. Breakfast was superb (English for me, continental for my wife and kids). Our hosts gave us lots of information on where to go, local events etc. and although the house was booked... More

We have stayed at this B&B several times and always been made very welcome. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy you wouldn't want to get up, but you have to, otherwise you would miss the excellent breakfast. Well worth a visit.

I booked our stay at Green Gables by visiting the Weymouth Tourist Office on The Esplanade quite late in the day - the helpful staff member was attentive even after the official closing time. When we arrived at Green Gables, it was almost immediately obvious that we had struck lucky. All the four available bedrooms and bathrooms in this small... More

The guest house is run by a very friendly local couple, who were both really keen to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are clean, tidy, have all the facilities you need. It's located excellently for the beach, a gentle stroll along the promenade to the town centre and the breakfast was spot on. Thanks for such a wonderful time
