We booked this hotel for the August Bank holiday and left it a little late so had to get the best we could - with parking too. So I knew that this wasnt going to be the best hotel we had stayed in - after looking at the previous reviews. the location is good, right on the seafront, it was... More

The Richmoor hotel was a very friendly hotel, was in an excellent location and the food was great! The only downside for us was the size of the family room and en suite as it was very small, we were there just for 2 nights which was fine but think it would of been too much for any longer, but... We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Room was spotless. Breakfast delicious. All staff especially the owners would bend over backwards to make your stay more pleasurable. We will be staying again. This is my favourite hotel in Weymouth and I've been to loads of others. Great location. Themed rooms

This was like an old fashioned boarding house adn very disappointing. The location was very good, central and on the seafront, but the rooms were basic. Not what I expected from a hotel, having said that the food in the restaurant was of a very high quilaity and plentiful and the staff were helpful. The actual hotel seems disorganised, we... More

Stayed in room 305 . Lovely view and a nice sized room but then expected at the price charged . Parking in Weymouth is a pain but hardly the hotels fault ! A parking permit is given and didnt have much trouble finding a spot only one street away. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite . Room... More

As I arrived I saw the outside of the hotel and was a little doubtful as it could do with a bit of brightening up. After arriving I was met by the manager in the reception room who gave us a nice welcome and explained about the parking situation. I chose the permit to park my car which was a... More

My Hubble and I had a sneaky weekend away and were delighted to be greeted so welcomingly! Four poster bed; sea view and superb breakfast were all a super bonus! We had a fabulous meal in their restaurant too! Very clean, friendly and a super find! Thank you to the owners, and their family for welcoming us into their family... More

We had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. It was not clear at all where the reception was when we arrived and the whole hotel is very dated. The rooms are small and the beds are not comfortable. The breakfast was good and lots to offer but the evening meal was very poor. £110 is absolutely ridiculous for this... More

Straight away as you walk into the hotel you realise what a mistake you've made by booking this hotel. It is not clear where the reception area is, and apart from looking dated there is a lot of clutter everywhere. Our hotel room was small, with old bedding, and an old mattress which you could feel the springs through. The... More

We've just returned from our stay at The Richmoor. We stayed in room 206 a family room with our small dog. The staff were very friendly & our room had a great view of the sea. Unfortunately the room was quite compact with 4 people (not much space to move around / store luggage. The room was so hot we... More
