I and 2 friends stayed at this Hotel weekend 28th/29th November 2014. We had read the reviews before we travelled which were mostly very negative, nevertheless, the position was ideal for us and we didn't expect to eat in the Hotel, so decided to give it a go. We have to say that it was great, very helpful friendly staff,... More

My husband and I along with my sister and her husband, booked this 'Hotel' through Groupon for a family get together mid-November. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.... On arrival it was clear to see that this establishment was very tired and in places quite shabby, from the 'community centre style' bar, with fixed wall benches, formica tables... More

Been here in past and it was bearable for the price we paid, but not again, really gone to the dogs. ...food prev edible now reheated cheap rubbish, room dusty and noisy, shower moldy, friendly helpful staff we encountered in past long gone. Interestingly while talking to one of the staff that was about to leave the job they revealed... More

Stayed here in February and thought I walked into a youth hostel.. There were three young men (they looked around 15-17) who were busy on there computer and phones and seemed to struggle to make eye contact with their customers... Until payment time. Breakfasts were standard nothing fancy or bad about them. But they seemed to stop them at 10... More

This hotel was great value for money, the staff were friendly and most helpful. Breakfast ,location and parking facilities all good. We also enjoyed their Sunday night cavery. I recommend this to cater for all age groups.

Arrived late and without a booking. The hotel couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Parking around the back which is such a bonus given the central location. Room was more than adequate for us. I can't thank the hotel more for sorting us a room and even offering us blankets for onward stay elsewhere! You're paying for the warm... More

The first thing to get into the open is that it's not a hotel by any stretch of the imagination and perhaps if it just called itself The Richmoor people would start with lower expectations and then be pleasantly surprised once they got there. It's well located and easy to get to. From the train station take second left (not... More

The hotel kindly agreed to let us check in early which we really appreciated. Offers to provide parking was also welcomed. Our room was clean and bed comfortable but unfortunately that's as far as the good points go. We booked through Bookings.com but if we'd paid the prices on display at the hotel I would have been devastated. The decor... More

I have never written a bad review of a hotel. Please, please pay attention. The only pro is that it's in a good location. The breakfast is terrible and looks like someone has got it out of the bin and melted thick grease on it and left to go cold. Cereal stale and juices in extremely unhygienic decanting upright tubes.... More
