Lovely location, very comfortable beds, and a very warm welcome on arrival and during our stay . The room was well equipped ,and the fresh milk and scones were a welcome treat after a long day of travelling and meetings

What fantastic hosts Karen and Frank are. So friendly and welcoming. The room was enormous and the bed as comfortable as you could wish for. Milk provided in a little flask and the opportunity to get more if needed. The views are to die for. Rolling hills and at night a starry sky we don't get here in light polluted... More

We stayed one night and would happily have stayed longer. Karen gave us a friendly warm welcome and the home made scones were very welcome after our long journey. The farm is very peaceful and the views from our double room were lovely. Lots of choice for breakfast and all in all a really nice stay. We will definitely return... More

It was a shame we could only stay one night. We loved everything about lily hill farm. Location, beautiful countryside, friendly welcome, blissful night's sleep and splendid breakfast. Plenty of choice for dinner nearby. Planning a longer visit next time!

Fantastic location, fantastic hosts, fantastic breakfast.we only stayed one night but could not have picked anywhere better. Would definitely return. The scones on arrival were a lovely touch after a long journey. We even had a packed lunch when we left for a minimal charge. Can definitely recommend a stay at this working farm.

Only a hop and a skip from the A66, but Lilyhill is beautifully quiet and peaceful. A warm welcome and a lovely comfy room in a gorgeous old farmhouse with plenty of space for luggage and relaxation and a nice view over the walled garden where the birds serenaded us. The scones and jam on arrival were lovely - I... More

What a place to stay!!! Karen & Frank were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Fresh home-made scones on arrival, spacious very comfortable bedroom, peace and quiet - wonderful. Breakfast was excellent, cereal, fresh fruit, full English if required, fresh toast and lashings of tea or coffee. Our 4 day stay was simply not long enough, despite the weather,... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby. I can't add much more than previous reviews, other that to say that we had a nice stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet that the location provided. Special mention must go to the breakfast, it was really good!
