Yes this hotel needs some attention in places but certainly does not spoil its charm and Charater.Carpark at the rear (great bonus).Lovely friendly professional staff.Room was on the 2nd floor over looking the courtyard.Old fashioned room but clean enough.Big bathroom but a bit more attention to cleanliness would not go a miss.Breakfast lovely cooked to order.Would defiantly stay again.

Long time since we've been in the Beverley Arms - just worth a mention from the wedding reception we've just attended there - great job folks, considering all the usual hazards of hosting a wedding reception, staff excellent, dining room preparation first-class, buffet lunch well above expectation. So maybe, as others imply, it's a work-in-progress, but based on this experience,... More

I have used this hotel for many years, albeit sporadically, and it is always a joy to stay here. The hotel has a large car park to the rear of the hotel and is wonderfully located to browse the excellent shops this lovely town has to offer. My husband and I had a superb light lunch of a Club sandwich... More

My friend and I were fortunate enough to visit Beverley on a beautiful sunny day, so decided to have our lunch in the courtyard at the Beverley Arms. All the staff were professional and attentive, especially Kyle, who was charming and friendly. First impressions of the hotel and use of the ladies room, was smart and clean. Will definitely go... We recently stayed here with friends............ Plus side: excellently situated in the Center of Beverley with parking, the breakfast was of a good standard and the staff are friendly . Negatives: the room was a poor standard and the Bathroom was really grubby with painted tiles and wood chip paper very poorly painted. There are also steep stairs to the... More

After attending many events at this hotel because of work over the years, I decided to stay there after my retirement night in Beverley. Oh how I wish I hadn't as I would never have had the disappointment ! First room looked "ok" until we went into the bathroom. Stained bowl mould around the bath and the tiles. The shower... More

We stayed for one night on busy weekend in East Yorkshire and got what I assume was the last room available, because it left some things to be desired. The bathroom in particular was a throwback with ugly little tiles, horrid flooring and an extractor fan that wasn't working, nor was there anywhere to put toiletries. The lighting in the... More

This was my second visit on account of a shortage of availability in Beverley. The hotel is okay but not the best. It is in desperate need of investment. I was in the more 'modern' extension: - The corridors smelt stale and the carpets were dog-eared. - The room was clean but tired. - The window lock was broken and... More

We stayed for one night after the races and must stress we would stay again. Our room was 118 which is in the older front part of the hotel but at the back overlooking the courtyard. I know the rooms at the front have a great view of the church but the main road outside seemed busy and we did... More

I stayed here for one night when I attended a wedding nearby. It was good value in a town centre that served my purpose adequately. I would agree with lots of the reviewers here and say that the hotel is in need of some updating particularly in the old part of he hotel. I didn't eat there but some friends... More
