Stayed for one night and found it to be in a great position to explore Beverley. As car parking is a premium in this area having your own parking spot outside our room was ideal. The room was very clean and warm and we found the manager and his staff all very pleasant. Will definatly be back.

I've stayed here with my wife and then on my own, each time the rooms were clean, cosy and cheerfull. There was also a large supply of tea, coffee ,milk and sugar in the room. The staff were friendly helpful and polite especially as the wife is not at her best in the morning!! Obviously the breakfast needs to be ordered ,but... More

We travel a lot at least once a month in the Uk and Europe so have stayed in numerous BBs and Hotels. This is by far the worse experience yet! Rooms very small and basic 80's style. TV so tiny you needed binoculars to see it. BREAKFAST: Give it a miss! You have to order the night before and tell... More

We popped in as we were passing by, and ordered our dinner. First time in my life I've a chance to try an actual real, British, homemade cuisine. Food was delicious, and I through the whole dinner I couldn't stop talking about it! I ordered chicken and ham pie (yummy!) and for my fiance a hot beef sandwich. When our... More

I popped in as I was passing and duly ordered Scampi and chips. it came with a decent amount of scampi and home made chips which were fried to perfection, though the garden peas were too hard. Pot of tea was spot on and service was excellent.

Good value, friendly hosts, excellent location and free parking. Would use again. The bar was very busy and many were enjoying the food on offer although we didnt, apart from the breakfast which gave a choice of cereals and typical full english giving us a good feed to start the day

The Dog and Duck is all you could ever ask for in a traditional Inn with quality accommodation in a great Yorkshire Market town. We were amazed by just how warm the welcome was and the food was first class traditional home cooking! The rooms are very comfortable and the Yorkshire breakfast great value and you walk out in the... More
