My husband has just spent a couple of nights here on business. This hotel although clean is tired and in need of updating. It offers a good assortment for breakfast. It has a free private car park. Very pleasant staff.

I would highly recommend the Bell Hotel to anyone. We had a wedding for 120 guests, many of whom stayed at the hotel. We also used them as a venue for a post-wedding Sunday lunch. The Bell is incredibly good value for money for weddings. The menu prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, and the... More

Stayed here to see our singer/songwriter friend record a live album. Very nice accommodation, well stocked bar [especially scotch!], meals excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. A most enjoyable weekend.

Stayed for one night ,arrived mid afternoon and there was still several parking spaces in the small car park. Could be some interesting manoeuvring if full. Was created by a friendly receptionist who showed me to my room number three on the first floor. There was a lift. I am glad she did as there are lots of long narrow... More

We spent 2 nights here during the middle of last week. Arriving mid-afternoon & squeezing into the one remaining space in the tiny car park, we waited at Reception for nearly 10 minutes before the owner finally appeared & checked us in. It seems there's only one member of staff on duty downstairs in the afternoons & she was busy... More

Wow, what an interesting experience. This is certainly a quirky atmospheric place which I'm sure if you are of a nervous disposition you may not like. It's certainly spooky. Long narrow corridors, nooks and crannies and bedrooms stuck in a time warp! I'm not kidding, when we walked into our room it was like stepping into a film set from... More

My mum was born and raised in Driffield but now in her 80s lives in Linconshire so we thought it would be nice to take her back to her roots , she had never been. To the Bell in her young day it would have far to posh and expensive, so we booked in for a there course lunch ,... More

I personally didn't stay at the hotel, but I was a guest there for the evening and the following day at my friends wedding party. For the Saturday evening there were quite a large amount of people attending the function, I would hazard a guess at 100 people (at least) were seated for food and were all fed in quick... More

The Bell Hotel at Driffield is now a Best Western establishment and usually I avoid these places like the plague as the food is generally average, and the beer poor. Not so at The Bell on a recent visit. I got a really good deal for £80.00 - a double room on a B&B basis, plus a choice of main... More
