A group pf friends were staying for a special birthday. We found the staff outstanding in every way nothing was too much. The hotel is very comfortable and rooms had everything you would expect and more. If you like antiques then this hotel is for you. Our friend enjoyed her time in the spa. We had an evening meal which... More

Driffield hasn't got much to share with the world, but sits very nicely in a area for easy reach to Beverley, Hornsea, Bridlington, Scarbotorugh, North York Moors and York, and so the Bell was our choice for a couple of nights. It is an old building and creaks a lot but that is part of the charm. All the rooms... More

After eating here for a number of years, I found the food and service that I received today dreadful. After receiving my food (salmon sandwich) and taking a first bite, I was shocked by the taste and texture of the bread. Turning it over I saw the entire bottom of the bread was covered in green mould. I obviously understand... More

Only stayed one night for a birthday party that we were attending, the room we stayed in was very spacious and reasonably comfortable. The only down side to the room was the creaking floor boards which is a problem throughout most of the hotel, however, it's probably what you should expect from a building of that age and construction design.... Just come back from a folk music weekend here, it was great. The bedroom was lovely, with charming features. Food was great, and well priced. Staff were helpful and efficient despite it being really busy at times. Lovely homely atmosphere.

We stayed here for an event so we did spend along time in the place. There are several rooms, the first room we got allocated was very fancy with a spiral stair case over two levels but not really suitable for ourselves. The next room was smaller but lovely although the sunken bath could have been a little challenging. You... More

Booking last minute, I wanted a town centre hotel. This is very much in the centre of town. Car Parking is tricky with few spaces and difficult driving when you are finally in the car park. You are warned that reception is 45 yards from the parking. Your walk to the reception is through a series of covered courtyards with... More
