An interesting old coach house which now needs a little bit of a refurbishment. Friendly and helpful staff but the fabric of the hotel needs a little bit of money spending on it. Called here for a morning coffee and a scone. Can't comment on the hotel rooms but downstairs is in need of a total refurb.. Looks grotty and dirty. The toilets are awful, like a public convenience in a city centre. They smell, dirty wallpaper, dirty white plastic sink plugs, not at all as i would expect from a Best Weston... More

Well that was an experience!! Was like going back in time staying at this hotel. Room decor was dated to say the least. The bed had a plastic covering over the mattress which made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep as every-time one of us moved it made a rustling noise and was very uncomfortable all round. I booked the hotel at fairly short notice because of its convenient location and reasonable price. What a good decision. Staff were friendly, polite helpful and professional. We visited here for a business function this month. The hotel is a lovely novel attraction and the majority of the team in there are welcoming and warm. A lovely quaint hotel, nothing too much trouble for the polite friendly staff, evening meal was superb and afternoon tea a delight our room was huge with a big comfy bed very Victorian, lovely furnishings. Stayed here one night , was traveling with my wife for a change .This Hotel is tired .But they do try to look after you .Every thing about our room was like 30-40 years out of date , I am use to having a plug so I can plug in my phone , computer ,iPad ,speed angel,mobile wireless speaker etc...
