Just got back from a weekend at Sand Le Mere. We were 2 adults and 2 young children. Had a great time. Staff great, good swimming pool. They have spent money here and the new complex is great. We had a 3 bed caravan which was clean and fairly new. We will be going back again soon.

First went to sand le mere 12 years ago and said never again, But they advertise new owners and£4 million spent so we thought give it a go ,hired one of the site vans for a week at Easter,no heating in van,took3 days to repair no cold running water 4days to repair cupboard doors jammed open,probably still open.black mould all... stayed here for 4 nights in executive lodge, lodge very clean and spacious, nice rooms and excellent decor throughout , but sadly let down by no toiletries or towels, frying pan, jugs etc, usual basics at any resort.!! the pool shut early at 4.00pm instead of published 5.00pm, SO JUST BE AWARE, BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS , TOILETRIES, AND PANS... WOW!! just got back from a long weekend at Sand le Mere. The site was beautifully clean and everything was within 5 mins walk from our caravan(LW6). The van itself was spotless and had everything we needed, it took me a while to try and light the boiler but a quick call to reception sorted this out with the help... More

Just arrived home from a week staying at a basic caravan booked through hoseasons. We booked a static caravan and were delighted with the level of accomodation at the price we paid couldn't fault the caravan but I wouldn't pay the summer prices for this I could go abroad for the same price. Standard van lovely and value for money only problems with this site is food rubbish for price not much choice, complex boring pools good tho and entertainment is pants same two people every night apart from a special singing act which could smash glasses with the high notes, cheap holiday but don't expect to much hopefully this site will improve...
