Feels a bit like a small hotel rather than the B&B we were expecting. It may have started out as a cottage but has been extended at the back. We also noticed on a telegraph pole outside that planning permission had been requested for a further extension. The rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. Ours had a patio area... more

We picked Cottage Lodge because we could bring the dog. It was a lovely room with it's own access and little things that being a dog owner you will appreciate. The breakfasts were amazing and the location of the b and b is also brilliant. We will definatly visit again, thank you! more

Thank you once again for a fabulous stay, you and your staff made us very welcome, the Exbury room is very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The changes you have made in going green are commendable and congratulations on your award, we look forward to staying again in the near future. more

Stayed here on business mid-week. We were greeted with real warmth and enthusiasm and given the 'run down' on the place. It is spotlessly clean and has the feel of a small hotel rather than a B&B. My room was large with a wet room rather than a bathroom (might be worth checking this if, like me, you enjoy a... more

Great place to stay, very friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. Brockenhurst itself has plenty of places to eat and the New Forest right on the door step. will deffinately return. more

Spent 2 nights at the Cottage Lodge. There must be hundreds of places to stay in the New Forest and we picked this place at random because it looked nice and was reasonably priced!. And I have to say I was impressed. All the staff were very friendly. Our room - the Bolderwood - was clean, warm and comfortable with... more

Very impressive and excellent value. There are so many thoughtful extras, and the emphasis on local suppliers is to be applauded. We have stayed in bed and breakfasts around the country, and none beats this for value. We got far more than we were expecting. Thanks to all involved. more

Our second visit to Cottage Lodge, and despite the cold weather we had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly, our room was warm and cosy and the New Forest breakfasts very enjoyable. We will be back ! more

We stayed at the Cottage Lodge for one night in the Boulderwood Room. We were fully aware that this would be a small room, but as it was just for one night, it was perfect. Being in the New Forest, we weren't intending to spend any significant amount of time in the room anyway. It was a bright room, with... more
