5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Booked here as a bit of luxury as we were in desperate need of some relaxation time and we were not disappointed! We stayed in the Furzley room which was lovely, very clean, modern yet classic furnishings in keeping with the hotel's character. Lovely to have the tea and coffee facilities hidden away from view in the room and to... More

We stayed here for a weekend and after a long drive in heavy rain arrived and were shown to a very average room. Clean but disappointing. Old magazines on the table, dull toiletries and a long walk from reception. We had a coffee served with delicious biscuits in the beautiful grounds and then a fantastic dinner in the oak panelled... We went with another couple to celebrate our birthdays. it was a one-night special Sunday deal which included afternoon tea, dinner, bed and breakfast ( and use of the pools and Leisure facilities). The drive up is incredible, as the Hotel is hidden off the beaten track in the heart of The New Forest. The setting is perfect and my... More

Stunning large country house hotel The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional from our arrival to our departure, so important to our overall enjoyment and satisfaction. The location is superb, right in the middle of the New Forest, but having a car is essential. All the New Forest attractions are close at hand. We had booked an executive room,... More

Wow, we have just returned from this hotel to celebrate our Anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was just perfect. Our room was lovely, our evening meal was everything we wanted, special, romantic and very tasty. The hotel grounds are stunning. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Take your walking... More

I recently reviews this place BUT because it wasn't a good review it got deleted. Soooo I will continue. I had burnt chicken with: burnt polenta, turned over so I couldn't see it, with a heavy handed artichoke salad with no dressing. My girlfriend had an overpriced/over cooked sea bass with a flavourless pasta or sauce as it was dry.... More

Went for afternoon tea as a treat. Sadly, being summer, it was pouring with rain so we were unable to sit outside. There is a beautiful ornamental pond with fountains which would be lovely on a sunny day. However, the bar area where we sat was busy without being crowded or noisy and very comfortable. Staff were polite and attentive... More

Had a lovely afternoon tea, and was lovely to be able to take in the grounds and the surrounds at the same time. Beautiful place for weddings etc, would love to go back again before returning to Australia espcially this time of the year in the gardens

We have just spent 4 nights at Rhinefield House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room in the new wing of the hotel and the rooms were clean with the usual facilities including flat screen TVs (incl one in the bathroom), DVD player, fridge and free wifi. Despite some of the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, we found... More
